The Yamaha FZ-X is the brand’s attempt at neo-retro design without changing the core mechanics of the FZ’s engine. Yamaha targets it at the riders who want the efficiency of a 150cc commuter, but in a cooler-looking neo-retro package. The motorcycle comes in two variants: Standard and Hybrid, priced at Rs 1,25,670 (ex-showroom) and Rs 1,45,110 (ex-showroom), respectively. Read on to know all about the colours:

Metallic Black:

The Metallic Black shade subtly highlights the FZ-X’s muscular tank and overall appeal. The metallic black on the tank contrasts the matt black found on the exhaust, engine and side panels. Dark Matte Blue:

The Dark Matte Blue colour scheme gives the FZ-X a bit of a more premium appeal. The matte texture minimizes the reflections and fingerprints, maintaining its clean and minimalist look. The colour itself adds a bit of satin-finish navy tone which looks premium and sophisticated. Also, the blue shade is a trademark Yamaha colour, so fans who like their bikes bleed blue will appreciate this.

Matte Titan

Matte Titan is a distinctive matte green shade available exclusively on the Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid. The muted finish complements the bike’s neo-retro styling, while the contrasting golden alloy wheels add a subtle touch of sportiness. It looks quite unique, with a hint of funkiness thanks to the coloured wheels. Also, the cyan coloured ring on the engine highlights its mileage-friendly nature as it gets the mild-hybrid tech.

Yes, the colour variety is pretty limited on the FZ-X range. We’d have liked to see more shades, particularly on the Hybrid variant. Perhaps, the brand might introduce more colours this festive season? Only time will tell.
