The SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) sales data for May 2024 is out for TVS bikes and scooters with their year-on-year (YoY) growth data:

Here is the list of the top 5 TVS bikes sold in India: 

1) TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

Engine: 159cc

Max Power: 17.55 PS @ 9250 rpm

Max Torque: 14.73 Nm @ 7500 rpm

Mileage: 49.8 Kmpl

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is one of the favourite bikes in the 160cc segment, it is also one of the most powerful bikes in its class. The bike has a sharp design, is feature-rich and has 3 riding modes- Sport, Urban and Rain. It is powered by an air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder 159.7cc engine producing an impressive 17.55PS at 9520rpm and 14.73Nm at 7250rpm in Sport mode, whereas in Urban and Rain mode, it makes 15.64PS at 8600rpm and 14.14Nm at 7250rpm. The bike gets a segment-first feature like the Glide Through Traffic (GTT) Technology that helps to easily ride through traffic with the rider only needing to modulate the clutch.

Adding to its premium feel, it is equipped with an LED headlight and tail lamp but it has halogens for the turn signals.
