The 895cc parallel-twin engine delivers smooth, linear power with excellent tractability across the rev range. It's flexible enough for easy city riding, yet has enough punch for spirited highway cruising. The engine's efficiency is also noteworthy, returning up to 28 km/l on the highway.

Forks are unadjustable, while the rear shock has rebound and remote preload. It’s not glitzy kit, but the shortage of adjusters and gold bits doesn’t mean ‘budget’ – action is good, and the mix of control and comfort is almost cock-on. Chassis balance is a highlight: the F900XR can be flicked about easily regardless of speed or surface, yet always with total composure and confidence-boosting manners. ESA is optional (rear shock only), but while it allows a sportier set-up the XR feels nicest on the regular settings. There’s no shortage of real-road braking power and feel from the four-pot Brembos.

lovely bike
pros: i found my bike very more comfortable while riding both on highway and off roads. definitely better than any other bikes in this segment cons: since i used a pulsar 220 before, i can't find any cons. this is really a big jump from a 220 to a translap. only thing is service. only very few technicians can handle such a bike and service centres in my area can only service lower cc bike and for that i had to travel like 150km.

Slightly over priced but it's a HONDA.
I have been riding for 10 months almost. Pros: light weight, excellent engine. Cons: no tubeless, maintenance is kind of high now as HONDA has increased the service cost which is almost equal to BMW now. May be we save some money in spareparts. Rest all on the higher side.
