      The BMW F 900 XR
The BMW F 900 XR is an impressive sports-touring motorcycle that offers a compelling blend of performance, practicality, and value. The 895cc parallel-twin engine delivers smooth, linear power with excellent tractability across the rev range. It's flexible enough for easy city riding, yet has enough punch for spirited highway cruising. The engine's efficiency is also noteworthy, returning up to 28 km/l on the highway.

      nice bike nice bike
Forks are unadjustable, while the rear shock has rebound and remote preload. It’s not glitzy kit, but the shortage of adjusters and gold bits doesn’t mean ‘budget’ – action is good, and the mix of control and comfort is almost cock-on. Chassis balance is a highlight: the F900XR can be flicked about easily regardless of speed or surface, yet always with total composure and confidence-boosting manners. ESA is optional (rear shock only), but while it allows a sportier set-up the XR feels nicest on the regular settings. There’s no shortage of real-road braking power and feel from the four-pot Brembos.

BMW F 900 XR Latest Updates

BMW Motorrad has launched the F 900 XR alongside the F 900 R in India. It's the first BS6 offerings from the German Brand.

    BMW F 900 XR Price:

The standard BMW F 900 XR is priced at Rs 10. 50 lakh. You could also opt for the F 900 XR  in the Pro package which costs Rs 11. 50 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, India). It's essentially a toned down version of the litre-class S 1000 XR  but takes its design cues from Concept 9Cento which was showcased in 2018. The popular genre blends sportsbike performance with the comfort of an adventure tourer.

    BMW F 900 XR Features:

The F 900 XRs feature includes a split full LED headlight with cornering lights (optional), LED tail light and turn indicators. It's electronics suite consists of two ride modes (Road, Rain) and ASC Automatic Stability Control which are offered as standard. Alternatively, customers can opt for an optional Pro package which offers ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Engine Braking Control (EBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) and the new engine drag torque control (MSR). The bike even comes with adjustable brake and clutch levers and a 6. 5-inch full colour TFT screen.

    BMW F 900 XR Engine:

Powering the BMW F 900 XR is a bored out 853cc parallel twin engine which now displace 895cc. It's been tuned to generate 105PS of power and 92Nm of peak torque.

    BMW F 900 XR Suspension & Brakes:

The F 900 R features a new steel frame with a 43 upside-down fork and a monoshock. Twin 320mm disc brakes up front and a single 265mm disc brake at the rear paired with dual-channel ABS handle braking duties. The Pro Package also gets you an electronically adjustable monoshock, if you fancy it.

    BMW F 900 XR Rivals:

The BMW F 900 XR doesn’t have a direct rival, but it comes quite close to the Ducati Multistrada 950.
