The Hero Splendor continues its reign over the sales chart
The commuter motorcycle segment draws in some of the highest sales in the country, remaining eternal favourites of the Indian audiences. The SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) has released its data for the month of May 2022, and here's the top five bikes that have ruled the sales chart.
The Hero Splendor has yet again secured the first position on the sales chart with 2,28,495 units being sold in May 2022, while the month-on-month growth is a healthy 13.14 percent.
While the Hero HF Deluxe was third on the list in April, it saw a month-on-month growth of 26.57 percent to clinch second place in May, by overtaking the Honda Shine, which witnessed a growth of 13.62 percent when compared to April.
The fourth spot is occupied by the Bajaj Pulsar 125 range, which comprises the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar NS125. This range saw a huge growth in sales when compared to April by a margin of 31.93 percent. The fifth spot is claimed by the Hero Super Splendor, which underwent a month-on-month growth of 5.06 percent.

While all these five bikes are commuter bikes, the sixth best selling bike in May 2022 is the Royal Enfield Classic 350, which narrowly missed out on breaking into the top five. The Chennai-based manufacturer sold 29,959 units of their popular motorcycle in May.
