Top 5 Best-Selling Bikes In India: July 2025

SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) recently released the sales data for the month of July 2025. The list has some very interesting developments in Month-On-Month (MoM) as well as Year-On-Year (YoY) sales. Here’s a list of the top 5 best-selling bikes in India:

Hero Splendor Plus

Hero sold 2,34,227 units of the Splendor Plus in the month of July 2025, a massive 24.59% decrease in MoM sales, while the YoY sales have increased by about 11.38% when compared to July 2024. Despite the large drop in month-on-month sales, the numbers are so high that it is over 1.5 times the second best-selling bike. This isn’t surprising, as it ticks all the necessary check boxes with its bulletproof reliability, good mileage, and hassle-free ownership. It is also one of the most beginner-friendly motorcycles you can buy in the country.

Honda Shine 125

The Honda Shine 125 has been the best-selling 125cc for more than a decade now, and the sales has been more or less consistent with over 1,38,665 units sold in the month of July 2025 alone. This is a 2.85% increase in MoM sales when compared to the previous month, while the YoY sales show a slight decline of 1.36% when compared with July 2024.

Hero HF Deluxe

The HF Deluxe is essentially the Splendor Plus, but in different clothes. The bikes share the engine and most of their underpinnings, offering a similar riding experience. While the Splendor Plus has the classic boxy looks, the HF Deluxe on the other hand, has a modern design.

Hero sold 71,477 units of the bike in the month of July 2025, a massive 29.14% decrease in MoM sales. But, when compared to July 2024, the YoY sales show a 53.29% increase. Also, expect the sales to go up in upcoming months, as Hero launched the HF Deluxe Pro with an LED headlamp and digital instrument console in July-end.

Bajaj Pulsar 125cc Range

The Bajaj Pulsar nameplate has always been synonymous with affordable performance. There are three bikes in the Pulsar 125 family: the Pulsar 125, the Pulsar N125 and the Pulsar NS125. While the Pulsar 125 comes with the classic original Pulsar styling, the N125 and NS125 will appeal to those who are looking for a sporty 125cc bike. The N & NS125 are also the most powerful bikes in the 125cc segment.

In July 2025, Bajaj sold 41,306 units of the Bajaj Pulsar range, showing a 16.79% decrease in the MoM sales and a 25.85% decrease in YoY sales. In a bid to improve the sales numbers, Bajaj recently announced a whole bunch of festive offers. 

TVS Apache RTR Range (150-200cc Range)

The TVS Apache 150-200cc range includes four bikes: TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, TVS Apache RTR 180 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. All these bikes are popular among the buyers for their innovative features and peppy performance.

TVS sold 41,386 units of the 150-200cc Apache range in the month of July 2025, a 9.23% decrease in MoM sales. This is despite the fact that the Apache RTR 160 2V was launched with dual-channel ABS in June-end. However, the YoY sales have shown a healthy 22.44% growth.
