We think that instead of categorising the bikes based on their engine displacements, it would have been better to base it on the price. The lower GST should have been applicable on bikes under Rs 5 lakh, and the higher rate on more expensive bikes. This would have ensured an expense-based taxation structure. This would have ensured the 650cc Royal Enfield bike’s price reduced a bit, making them more appealing. This would have helped the middle-class enthusiasts attain dreams of owning a mid-capacity bike.

Interceptor 650 has been an amazing bike to own. The 650cc parallel twin engine is smooth, powerful and fun to ride specially on highways. The exhaust note is addictive and the bike feel very stable on high speed, overall a great combination of performance, classic looks and riding experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and riding it.

      Worth it..
This is an excellent bike and had great fun riding. The back seat is include along with the bike. Had 1250km run including office travel and long rides and it has been fun doing both. Great comfort. The sheet metal grey gives a batmobile feel and experience. Looks damn good without the back seat, I generally carry it in my backpack.

Im a tall person and i needed a tall bike and the looks of this golden shadow is just beautiful. I would have chosen interceptor 650 but this just was it when i first sat on it in the showroom. Cant get over of it. Posture has to be perfectly aligned will hurt if you don't sit right and the pull is amazing, even on the 5th gear you can feel the bike wanting to run ahead loved the overall experience, needs a seat change and tires can be better, my personal opinion If you are tall and need a 650cc from royal enfield id definitely suggest this bike way too good but, there is always a but be careful with the suspension, heavier the person better the suspension, the pull is great (torque) better than a gt most people would disagree but whatever.

      The royal Enfield classic 650
The royal Enfield classic 650 is one of those bikes that makes you stop and stare before you even turn the key. The moment you fire it up, the parallel-twin engine greets you with a smooth but deep exhaust note. Out on the roads, the bikes pulls strongly in mid-range. Cruising at 90-100 km/h feels effortless, and you can tell this machine is built to stretch its legs on highway. The 6- speed gear box shifts clean, and the assist clutch makes life a bit easier in traffic, though the lever itself is still on the heavier side
