Mahindra Two-Wheelers Ltd has announced its sales numbers for the month of February 2016. During the month, company was able to sell 9952 units in total comprising 8643 units through domestic sales and the remaining 1309 units were exported.

The company has been pushing hard to increase its presence in the market. As a part of its expansion strategy, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer launched its highly awaited motorcycle, the Mojo, which was first showcased in 2012 Auto Expo. The launch of Mojo did help the manufacturer to get the decent numbers, thanks to its value for money ability. Few months after Mojo, there was news that Mahindra is now working on to bring the more powerful version of its highest selling scooter, the Gusto. Named as Gusto 125, the scooter made its debut in January this year. The media ride of the scooter has already been done, but we are awaiting for the launch. The scooter will directly rival against the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125.

The new Gusto continues to carry its car like features along with many other additions. Moreover, there are rumours that the company is now working on 150cc motorcycle. The 150cc motorcycle segment is amongst the hottest in the market and almost every two-wheeler manufacturer has, at least, one product to offer.
