Hero Xtreme Streetfighter Range Explained

Hero Moto Corp has recently launched the 2025 Xtreme 250R in India, starting at Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this addition, the Xtreme range now includes four models, and the Xtreme 250R now sits on the top of the range. Here’s a closer look at each model in the Xtreme range:
Hero Xtreme 125R
The smallest bike in the Xtreme range, the Hero Xtreme 125R, starts at Rs 96,425 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1,00,100 (both ex-showroom) for the top variant. The bike comes with a sharp and sporty look and is available in three paint schemes: Cobalt Blue, Firestorm Red and Stallion Black.
The Xtreme 125R is powered by a 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes a peak output of 11.4PS at 8,250rpm and 10.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox as standard. It has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters.
The Hero Xtreme 125R has an LCD instrument cluster but lacks smartphone connectivity. It comes with LED lighting all around and also gets a hazard light feature. The Xtreme 125R also features the Hero i3S function that helps in saving fuel by shutting off the engine when it idles for some time, the engine can then be turned on by pressing the clutch and twisting the accelerator. The top variant also gets a first-in-segment single-channel ABS.
Hero Xtreme 160R 2V
The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V is the cheaper 160cc naked bike from Hero MotoCorp, and costs Rs 1.11.611 (ex-showroom). It comes with a sporty and sculpted design. It is available in a single variant and in a single Stealth Black paint scheme. With a single seat setup, the Xtreme 160R 2V balances sportiness with comfort.
The Xtreme 160R 2V has a 2-valve, 163cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, paired with a 5-speed transmission. It produces 15.2PS at 8,500rpm and 14Nm at 6,500rpm. It has a 12-litre fuel tank.
The Hero Xtreme 160R features an all-LED lighting setup with an H-shaped LED DRL (daytime running light) and an H-shaped tail light. The bike has a negatively-lit LCD instrument console but misses out on smartphone connectivity features. But, it gets a drag timer to test the bike’s acceleration timings.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is the premium 160cc offering by the Jaipur-based manufacturer. Priced at Rs 1,39,000 (ex-showroom), it is available in a single variant and comes in three colour options: Neon Shooting Star, Stealth Black and a new Kevlar Brown.
The Xtreme 160R 4V gets a 4-valve, 163.2cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes a maximum output of 16.9PS at 8,500rpm and 14.6Nm at 6,500rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Xtreme 160R 4V also has a 12-litre fuel tank.
The Xtreme 160R 4V also gets a similar negative LCD instrument console as the 2V with a drag timer, but the 4V also gets smartphone connectivity. It offers call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, malfunction alerts, theft alerts, and many more features via the Hero connect app.It also gets a fully LED lighting setup and a USB charging port as standard.
Hero Xtreme 250R
The Hero Xtreme 250R is the most powerful bike in the Xtreme range. It features bold looks and is priced at Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom). The 250cc street fighter comes in a single variant and is available in 3 different color options: Neon Shooting Star, Stealth Black and Firestorm Red.
The Xtreme 250R is powered by an all-new 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which produces a peak output of 30PS at 9,250rpm and 25Nm at 7,250rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike has an 11.5-litre fuel tank.
The Hero Xtreme 250R has a colour LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. The console provides call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation features. It also gets E-SIM-based connectivity features via the Hero Connect mobile app. The Xtreme 250R has all-LED lighting setup along with hazard lights and a USB type-C charging port as standard.

It is an awesome bike. Good colour combination, good engine, great pickup and a good mileage. Comfortable while riding makes it a great bike for day to day commute.
