The Hero Splendor is over 28 years old and has gone on to become the best-selling motorcycle in India. Hero has had great success with each version of the Splendor, and has recently launched the Xtec variant of the iconic bike that features several smart updates. Let's take a closer look at all these new additions in detail.

The biggest update on the Splendor Xtec variant is a segment-first all-digital display with Bluetooth connectivity that provides incoming and missed call alerts and message alerts; two trip meters, real time mileage indicator and low fuel indicator, apart from the regular information like fuel gauge, speedometer and odometer. It also gets an integrated USB charging port.

The Splendor Plus Xtec also gets the i3S (Idle Stop Start) system to aid fuel efficiency. This system detects if the engine is idling too long while the bike is stationary, and cuts off the engine automatically, thereby saving fuel. A quick yank on the clutch quickly starts the engine right back up.

To ensure the safety of the rider, the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec is equipped with a side-stand alert and side-stand engine cutoff, and also features a bank-angle sensor that cuts off the engine in the case of a fall.

The bike also gets an LED DRL integrated into the headlamp cowl. This LED DRL is coupled with the same headlamp and turn indicators as the other variants. While the offset LED takes some getting used to, it lends the bike a unique and quirky personality.

The Hero Splendor Plus Xtec also gets four new paint options, namely Sparkling Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Grey and Pearl White. The Canvas Black model shown here looks minimalist and highlights the lines of the bike rather nicely.

Most durable in 110cc class. Most durable and well built. But the Radeon has an advantage over it's rivals and that's the exhaust note with quite nice engine performance for a 110cc and looks are balance between style and practicality. Very economical over long term usage. Excellent for small business and load carrying capacity because of it's robust built quality. Cons: Breaking could be better. Seat foam hardens over time making it uncomfortable.Read More

Rough & tough workhorseI selected this bike for the practicality, it's not flashy or performance oriented absolutely a boring simple commuter. It can handle heavy loads, rough roads. It's durable, fuel efficient & low maintenance. It's been good so far, mature, seniors will like it that's for sure, once you fill the tank, u don't have to worry about refueling. It can handle the space technology used roads pretty good. If you don't know how to ride a bike than this can be a very good option since it's very easy to handle. i would highly recommend this bike to people who are willing to do deliveries and bike taxi cause the mileage is really good and so is the space of the seat the pillion can sit without any discomfort but this is a boring bike so do not expect any thrill.Read More
