Indian Motorcycle has rolled out its updated 2025 Scout range in India. The new lineup features eight models, priced between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 16.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The family is divided into two categories: the 999cc “Sixty” models and the larger 1,250cc bikes.
2 Engines, 8 Bikes
Both the engines are liquid-cooled V-twins. The ‘smaller’ 999cc motor produces 86.17PS and 88Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The larger 1,250cc engine delivers 106.45PS and 108Nm, with the 101 Scout tuned to 112.54PS and 109Nm - and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Sixty Range (999cc)
Scout Sixty Bobber: Rs 12.99 lakh

The most accessible bike in the lineup, the Scout Sixty Bobber offers a blacked-out design with minimalist appeal. It’s meant for riders who want the classic bobber stance without moving into the bigger engine bracket.
Sport Scout Sixty: Rs 13.29 lakh

The Sport Scout Sixty adds a headlight fairing and handlebar risers, leaning towards a slightly sportier and more aggressive design language. It’s a good fit for those who want a bit of attitude and comfort combined in a cruiser.
Scout Sixty Classic: Rs 13.42 lakh

The Scout Sixty Classic variant sticks with retro cruiser styling with chrome accents, sweeping and large fenders, a more traditional silhouette, and alloy wheels. This one caters to buyers who prefer heritage looks in a manageable, relatively lighter package (than the 1250cc version).
The 1,250cc Lineup
Scout Bobber: Rs 13.99 lakh

With the bigger engine and stripped-back design, the Scout Bobber combines raw styling with more power. This model suits riders who want a muscular but no-frills machine for city and highway use.
Scout Classic: Rs 14.02 lakh

The larger Scout Classic brings the old-school cruiser identity with wire-spoke wheels and added performance owing to the bigger engine. It is aimed at buyers who want traditional American cruiser looks but also the benefit of stronger highway capability.
Sport Scout: Rs 14.09 lakh

Positioned as the sportier alternative, the Sport Scout adds an headlight fairing, 19-inch front wheel, blacked-out details and a more aggressive stance. It’s for riders who want sharper styling along with long-distance ability.
101 Scout: Rs 15.99 lakh

The 101 Scout sits at the very top of the range in terms of performance - offering an inverted fork, gas-charged twin rear shocks and radially-mounted Brembo Monobloc calipers at the front. It makes slightly more power and torque than the others, and is meant for enthusiasts who want performance but in a cruiser form factor.
Super Scout: Rs 16.15 lakh

The Super Scout gets long distance touring oriented accessories like a tall windscreen and leather saddlebags. It also adds a lot of chrome accents on the handlebar, mirrors, engine casing, exhaust, fuel cap and more. Even this has wire spoke wheels.
Features And Trims
The Sixty range comes in 2 variants: Standard and Limited. Standard includes all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and semi-digital console. Limited adds traction control, 3 riding modes (Standard, Tour, Sport), cruise control, USB charging port, 3D logos and fancier colour schemes.

On the 1,250cc models, an additional Limited + Tech pack replaces the digi-analog console with a 4-inch colour TFT display with multiple layouts, keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, phone alerts, crash/tow alerts and live vehicle tracking.
All bikes have very accessible seat height ranging from 649mm to 680mm. This should make them easier to manage in parking lots despite the fairly heavy 241kg to 268kg kerb weights.
Rivals & Verdict

Indian Motorcycle is targeting buyers in the large capacity cruiser, bobber segments. There are only two other brands that offer bikes in this space - the Bonneville Bobber and Speedmaster both starting from Rs 12.05 lakh from Triumph, and the Nightster and Sportster range from Harley-Davidson.
The Triumph bikes offer good value for money considering their engine capacity. Interestingly, the more affordable Indian Scout models undercut the cheapest Harley-Davidson big bike, the Nightster (Rs 13.51 lakh) while also looking cooler in our opinion.

That said, Indian Motorcycle is a relatively unknown brand in India (the irony) and has a very small dealership of only 6 showrooms across India: Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi. On the other hand, Harley has 20 dealers spread across major cities in the country.
