The Suzuki Access 125 has been a familiar sight on Indian roads for close to two decades. Its neutral styling, engine with enough grunt, and practical touches make it the best-selling 125cc scooter in India. Suzuki offers it in six variants: Standard, Special Edition, Ride Connect Edition, Ride Connect TFT Edition, Ride Connect ABS Edition, and the range-topping Ride Connect TFT ABS Edition. That's a lot of options for what is, underneath it all, the same scooter. So we've broken down exactly what separates them:

The wheels and front brake are the first real split. The Standard variant gets steel wheels with a drum brake up front. Given the peppy nature of the engine, we’d definitely recommend the variants with a disc brake, or even better, ABS. Colour availability changes across the range, with a few shades shared between variants and some exclusive to the higher trims. The Standard and Special Edition get a basic digital display with no phone connection. The Ride Connect variants add Bluetooth pairing, with turn-by-turn navigation. The TFT versions get a nicer-looking colour screen, while other bits are the same, including turn-by-turn navigation.
What Doesn't Change
No matter which variant you pick, you're getting the same 124cc, air-cooled engine making 8.6PS at 6,500rpm and 10.2Nm at 5,000rpm, paired with the same CVT gearbox. So the way the scooter accelerates (it is delightfully peppy) and rides feels identical across the board; only the equipment around it changes. Suspension is shared too: a telescopic front fork and a swingarm at the rear, and every variant gets the same 24.4-litre under-seat storage, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and 5.3-litre fuel tank. Which One Should You Pick
If you're buying purely on budget, the Special Edition offers all the essentials as it is just one step above the base variant, and gets a front disc, which is a crucial addition. If you have more to spare, then we’d recommend the Ride Connect ABS Edition as it offers the best value when it comes to useful safety and convenience features.
