Surprisingly, the Suzuki Access 125 is not only peppy, but is also loaded with useful features. We break it down

    Suzuki Access 125

The Suzuki Access 125 is by far the best selling 125cc scooter in India for years. It may look like a family-oriented scooter, but is surprisingly fun to ride. It is also loaded with lots of features spread across multiple variants. The prices are as follows.

    Variants

    Prices (ex-showroom Delhi)

    Access 125 Special Edition

    RS 95,230

Access 125 Ride Connect TFT ABS Edition

With that out of the way, here’s a full explanation of all the important features it gets, categorised into two broad topics:

    Convenience Features

    Suzuki Access 125 Convenience Features

The Access 125 addresses several commuter pain points with its feature set. The external fuel lid makes it more convenient at petrol pumps compared to underseat fuel tank cap. The scooter offers a one-push central lock system that operates the ignition, seat lock, and fuel lid from a single keyhole, along with a security shutter.

The Access 125 comes with a digital console that shows all relevant information such as speed, fuel level, time and even real-time mileage information. The Ride Connect Edition variant of the Access comes with Bluetooth connectivity, with features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts. Along with this, it can even show rain alerts and ambient weather information. On the other hand, Ride Connect TFT Edition gets all the same features, but instead of using an LCD instrument console, gets a colour TFT screen.

    Suzuki Access 125 Convenience Features

For storage, it provides 24.4 litres of underseat space, which can fit a small full-face helmet, and should be enough for your grocery runs. While decent, this is less than the 33 litres offered by its rival, the TVS Jupiter 125.

Upfront, there are dual utility pockets for small items, though they are uncovered. Additional practical touches include dual utility hooks and two helmet hooks under the seat (used to lock in the helmet straps). All these features come standard in all the variants, except the base variant with the steel wheels. Also, other than the base variant, the rest all have alloys. Here’s an easy breakdown of the convenience features for each variant:

    Safety Features

    Suzuki Access 125 Safety Features

The most significant safety feature in the variants is the availability of single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) on the Ride Connect ABS and Ride Connect TFT ABS Editions. This makes it the only mainstream scooter in the 125cc space to have ABS, and is also the cheapest scooter with ABS in India. This should improve braking performance as well as braking confidence massively compared to CBS.

It is important to note that variants equipped with ABS do not have a kick-starter. Lower trims continue with a Combined Braking System (CBS), which links the front and rear brakes for balanced stopping power.

    Suzuki Access 125 Safety Features

Braking hardware includes a front disc brake on the Special Edition and above, while the base Standard Edition uses drum brakes at both ends. Other safety features include a side-stand engine kill function, a pass-beam switch, hazard lights, and a parking brake, which we found to be a bit fidgety to engage.

    BikeDekho Says

    Suzuki Access 125

The Suzuki Access 125 justifies its positioning through its refined and punchy engine, delivering acceleration without compromising on mileage. In fact, in our tests, it returned 55kmpl in mixed riding conditions. The inclusion of ABS really rounds off the overall value of the scooter. If you’re looking for a scooter that all of your family members will use, and at the same time is exciting enough for the younger folks as well, then the Access 125 ticks all the right boxes. Its feature list is simply a cherry on top.

      Positive Review of Access 125
As being an adult, I needed a vehicle to commute to places, I had to select a scooter for house chores and personal uses. I took advice from many people, used AI for comparisons, took reviews, test rides and then selected it as a final decision. So far the ride is comfortable, we can ride for hours without getting back pain or anything, with a good mileage receiving at a petrol scooter, I have no tension about how much I ride on daily basis, the handling, brakes, tyres and suspension are all best. A family person or a new adult should purchase it or as a first two wheeler owner too. You can purchase it. I would surely recommend to you. I will take guarantee of u not regretting getting this scooter.

      Access is Easy
Suzuki provide smooth engine, sound like angry beast, in 2013 we purchase 1st access 125 still in working with 42000 km so smooth, so trusted product and now new refresh with engine changes. Best in class. Comfortable but a manufacturing defect in chassis handle is tilt left side seat is right side alinement issue, Even if you try to explain it, the service center staff still won't understand. Only a true rider or a Japanese engineer could grasp this. Yes sure look premium, suspension doesn't flex when pillion sit on it, confidant or stable ride with pillion, I have ridden it for 200 km in one day no issue, no power leg smooth steady ride easy ride.

Strong build, you can always rely on it and has great pickup as well. Cool, It's comfy, easy to handle. Best for beginners. If you're someone who has just learnt to ride bikes this one is gonna be best to handle. Unlike other 2 wheelers this won't give you issues with handling Definitely yes with its complete performance and power, build this can be a go to monster.
