From under Rs 1 lakh to almost 50 lakh, this month’s two-wheeler launches had a pretty diverse price range

June 2025 has been a blockbuster month for motorcycle enthusiasts in India, with major launches across categories - from an affordable electric scooter to almost 2,000cc American cruisers. Here’s a quick summary of everything new on two wheels this month:

    Bajaj Chetak 3001

Bajaj introduced the Chetak 3001 at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom) - making it the most affordable Chetak yet. It replaces the 2903, and gets a bigger 35-litre underseat storage, a larger floorboard-mounted 3kWh battery - with a claimed range of 127km.

    TVS

TVS refreshed the Apache RTR 200 4V for 2025 with a golden colour invented fork, a single-piece handlebar, and three new colour schemes with revised graphics. This has been launched as a new top-spec variant and it costs Rs 1,53,990 (ex-showroom).

The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 with dual-channel ABS and OBD-2B compliance was also launched. It is now the top-spec variant in the 160 2V line-up and is priced at Rs 1,34,320 (ex-showroom). Both bikes remain the same otherwise - in terms of engine, features, and other underpinnings.

    Triumph Speed T4 Baja Orange

Triumph has added a new ‘Baja Orange’ colour to the Speed T4 - inspired by the Street Triple 765 R and Scrambler 1200 XE. Priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom), it costs slightly more than the other colours on offer. Other specifications and features remain unchanged.

    2025 Yezdi Adventure

The Yezdi Adventure got updated for 2025 with a new twin-pod asymmetrical headlight, twin circular tail light design, new colour options, and better seat foam. It still retains the same 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine but is now OBD-2B and E20-compliant (20% ethanol and 80% petrol). Surprisingly, despite all these changes, the 2025 bike costs Rs 1,000 less than the previous-gen model - starting at Rs 2,14,900 (ex-showroom).

    Suzuki

Suzuki updated the GSX-8R and V-Storm 800 DE for 2025 with OBD-2B compliance, but prices remained the same at 9.25 lakh and Rs 10.30 lakh respectively. Both are powered by a liquid-cooled, 776cc, parallel-twin engine that makes 81PS and 78Nm. This motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox, a slipper clutch, and a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

Both get features like a 5-inch, full colour TFT console, ride modes, and ABS modes. While the V-Strom 800 DE got a new colour, Suzuki missed the opportunity to add Bluetooth connectivity to both.

    2025 Kawasaki Z900

Kawasaki has launched the updated 2025 Z900 in India at Rs 9.52 lakh - making it Rs 14,000 more expensive than before. It gets revised styling, more features, and a new triple-pod headlight in place of the twin-pod one - even the iconic 'Z' shaped tail light has been replaced with a new one. It continues with the same 948cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine but it now makes 1PS and 1.2Nm less than before. All in all, despite the small premium (by big bike standards), Kawasaki has made the Z900 a lot more wholesome than before.

    2025 Honda XL750 Transalp

Honda launched the 2025 XL750 Transalp at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is the same as the outgoing model. It is powered by a 755cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine making 91.77PS and 75Nm. It comes with an updated 5-inch colour TFT console with smartphone connectivity, five riding modes, traction control, backlit switchgear, and more.

    2025 Harley-Davidson Range

Harley-Davidson India’s 2025 lineup arrives with the most diverse pricing range. The X440 is the cheapest, and the price remains unchanged at Rs 2,39,500. On the other hand, the Road Glide sits at the upper end at Rs 42.30 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Also, the Fat Bob was discontinued and it will be replaced by the Street Bob in India for 2025 - the price will be revealed later.

    2025 Indian Motorcycle Range

Indian Motorcycle launched its 2025 range In India that includes the Chief, Challenger, Chieftain, Springfield, Pursuit, and Roadmaster series. Prices start at Rs 23.52 lakh for the Chief lineup, and go up to Rs 48.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom) for the Roadmaster range. Each model offers tons of customization options, and Indian directly competes with Harley-Davidson.

      Best bike I ever ride.
This bike is very amazing and beautiful. This bike has much power. I love to ride this bike. Best in touring and riding and gives good mileage on highways. This bike grabs attention in the city and people also love this. For riding on highways or going to mountains feels super comfortable. Where I go people look at me but sometimes in higher speed a small vibration feels. But purchasing this is my great choice. It is very good. Yes, for sure sure if you have budget for this, you must buy it because it gives that experience which can not given by other bikes in this price range. I think this is best bike at this range. You must buy it.

Hamara bajaj is now hamara chetakev
I had purchased it when ev was new in market, I am very much satisfied. I had drove it for more than 50000 kms with no expense. I had to change only tyres and regular service only one auxiliary battery of Rs. 800 had been changed. I am quiet impressed me and my son both have purchased but there is very less front space between handle and seat to carry extra luggage vegetables or ration need to improve in this area good service staff in patni and Nagpur. I will recommend everyone to go for this ev only. Positive, Very good for local commute, I had recovered all the money spend for purchase, me and my son had not spend a single penny for petrol, very pleasant ride for city and highway also but with limitation of distance. mid age person college boys with huge space in seat box for helmet and laptop girls working women also it's value for money, I had already 2 chetak with me and both vehicle had been run for 50000 and 23000 kms planning to purchase one more for my wife.

It was great experiencing owning this bike. This is an underrated adventure bike. Yezdi service could have been better. But required much maintaining it in good condition. Did not regret buying yezdi Adventure. Company stopped making the colour which is unique (Magnite Maroon). Yezdi Adventure Magnite maroon 2024.

A Durable Bike with Excellent Ride Quality
I chose this bike because I love riding the Apache. I haven't found the same level of comfort in any other bike in this segment and the riding posture is also very comfortable and perfectly balanced and relaxed on every ride. The ride quality of Apache RTR 160 has been very good so far. For long routes, city ride the most important things are comfort and riding posture, and that's what really makes this bike's ride quality better. Everyone has their own choice, but I would definitely choose this bike in this segment. As per current regulations, bikes are subject to scrapper after 15 years, and if this bike is properly maintained, it still run like day one even after 15 years. It's a very durable machine.
