Anand Mahindra Shows Off The World’s First Foldable E-Bike

This E-bike is said to be more effective than all its competitors.

Anand Mahindra, the chairperson of Mahindra & Mahindra, posted a tweet congratulating founders of a startup called Hornback for creating the world’s first foldable e-bike that features a diamond frame with full-size wheels.

Hornback offers 2 models, the X1 and the M1. The X1 is an e-bike and comes with a range of 45 km and a charging time of 3 hours, whereas the M1 is a regular bike that features a 21-speed gear system.

Anand Mahindra further claimed that these features make the bike 35 percent more efficient than other foldable bikes and also stable at medium to higher speeds. The bike is also the world's first foldable bike that doesn’t have to be lifted to be transported after folding.

Anand Mahindra disclosed that he himself is an investor in the startup and the bikes are now available both on Amazon and Flipkart.
