Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z & NS200 Spotted With New Console: Launch Soon

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z & the Pulsar NS200 have been spotted at a dealership with some exciting new updates. Here's a closer look at the bikes:

Pulsar NS200

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was spotted at a dealership with a new TFT console. Along with that, another bike was spotted with the older negative LCD console, suggesting that the motorcycle will be available in multiple variants.

The new TFT console looks identical to the unit seen on the recently launched Pulsar N160 SS. It is a 5-inch TFT console that gets Bluetooth connectivity, call & SMS alerts, document storage, and music controls. This console was also introduced on the recently updated Pulsar 150, which also features full Google Maps mirroring, and the NS200 is also expected to get it, although this is yet to be confirmed.

The variant with the TFT console also gets updated switchgear, along with the addition of a hazard light switch. According to the images, the NS200 continues to get an inverted fork and dual-channel ABS setup, while the variant with the older console is expected to continue with a conventional fork and single-channel ABS setup, similar to the base variant currently on sale.

Recently, the NS200 was also spotted with WP Apex suspension & a USB charging port, both of which could be present on the top-spec variant.

Mechanically, the Pulsar NS200 is expected to remain unchanged. It will continue to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which currently makes 24.5 PS, 18.7 Nm and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. 

Pulsar NS400Z

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z was also spotted with a TFT console at a dealership. It is expected to be available in a single variant with the updated instrument console. Other than that, the bike is expected to remain unchanged. That said, the TFT console will add a premium touch to the NS400Z, which was missing on the older bike with the segmented LCD console.

With the addition of the TFT console, these Bajaj bikes get a much-needed update. The NS400Z gets an additional premium quotient, which was lacking in the older bike, while the NS200 gets a much-needed update that it hasn’t received in years.

The current NS400Z is priced at Rs 1,86,015, while the top-spec NS200 with dual-channel ABS is priced at Rs 1,48,602. With the TFT console, the price is expected to go up by around Rs 4,000 for both bikes. The updated bikes are expected to be launched before the festive season.
