Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS200, N250 Spied Ahead Of Launch
A couple of significant updates on the two bikes to celebrate 25 years of the Pulsar brand
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the N250 have been spotted ahead of their launch. The two bikes are next line after the recently-launched Pulsar 150 and 125. These will join the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Pulsar brand, and as such are getting a couple of significant updates.
What’s New On Pulsar NS200
First things first, the NS200 now gets an upside-down WP fork, which should make it look premium. How it affects the ride and handling remains to be seen till we ride it.
Next up is the TFT console like we have seen on the N160 S and the Pulsar 150 – with a 4-way switch. It should have smartphone connectivity, navigation – maybe Google Maps mirroring on the higher variants and turn-by-turn on lower ones – and a USB Type C charging port on the left hand side of the display. We can also expect ride modes, traction control, and ride-by-wire. Another update is adjustable clutch and front brake levers – these should add to the convenience factor.
The Pulsar 150 had a silent start function, and it would be a fantastic addition to the NS as well. While no word yet on change in performance, if Bajaj increases the engine output, it could improve NS’ fun factor.
Apart from these, the bike in the spyshots looks similar to the existing model.
What’s New On Pulsar N250
Just like the NS, the Pulsar N250 in the images also has a TFT display with the new switchgear. That said, the N250 has a USD, but there’s no WP sticker on it.
Another big change could be a 4-valve head in the N250 – just like how the N160 S had. If so, it could improve the bike’s performance. However that can only be confirmed at launch.
Launch Timeline
Both bikes are expected to be launched before the festive season, and could see a marginal price hike. For reference, the Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs 1,38,302 while the N250 is priced at Rs 1,45,270 (all ex-showroom, Delhi). We can also expect a new colour or two for both the bikes.

And the good one is gearing position, I like the design of my bike. Mileage i got on highway around 40 kml in cities 34 around, but best handling in every way. I ride the bike around 1900 km and I got the good mileage i observed there is no mileage drop in this segment. I ride around 50 km per day. Don't buy if you are not a men. - Pulsar N250 - Amazing MachineI chose this bike for it's looks, easy spare parts availability and uniqueness on roads. This is one of the cheapest 250cc out there. It provides almost all the modern technologies like riding modes, Dual-channel ABS, Traction control, Bluetooth navigation, etc. I liked the seating posture and seat height it is very accessible to all types of riders. I like bikes having good low-end torque for effortless city riding and this machine has very good low to mid range torque so these are the reasons I chose this beautiful machine. The overall ride quality is very good. The suspension is not that stiff and you will definitely feel the adrenaline rush due to it's power. This is a very good city machine as well as capable on highways. On highways you can easily cruise at 80-100 km/h without much stress on the engine. I must say that the engine is very refined and smooth.The pickup is great and it has very good midrange performance. I am getting mileage of around 38 km/l which is decent for a 250cc. You can get mileage of 45 on highways if you cruise at a constant speed. The stability of this bike at speeds of 90-100 is decent but I am not sure about the high stability post 120 km/h. You feel the absence of a 6th gear on highways sometimes but the bike manages the gear ratios pretty well. Overall I'll say this bike has got a very punchy and refined engine. The braking is very good and the front brake response is very satisfying you will feel confident while riding this machine. The exhaust sound is very bassy and head-turning. People will definitely notice you. The pillion seat and rear suspension is a bit on stiffer side but it is good for cities. One thing I must mention is it's class-leading led projector headlights.The throw is very amazing and you will feel confidence on highways.No other bike in this segment provides such powerful headlights. So let's come to conclusion Will I recommend this bike I would say if you love bike having great low and mid range torque refined engine then you should definitely go for N250.But if you want a better highway machine having liquid looked technology and better high speed stability then you can look at NS200. Overall both the bikes have their own pros and cons and it all depends on what kind of rider you are and what you want. At last I would say you can buy N250 it will not disappoint.
