BREAKING: All-New Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched At Rs 1.15 Lakh

Bajaj Auto has finally given the iconic Pulsar 150 a generational update with the launch of the all-new Pulsar 150 in India. The bike gets some comprehensive updates, which include a new design, an all-new engine, chassis, and features. The good thing is that along with all these updates, Bajaj has still managed to retain the familiar Pulsar silhouette.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 150 is available in three variants priced between Rs 1,15,223 and 1,23,187 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Colours Options 

The new Pulsar 150 is available in multiple colour options, including sporty shades that complement its sharper styling. The colour options are: Saffire Blue, Ebony Black Ink Blue, Black Magenta Red, Fury Red, and Pearl Metallic White. Some of these shades do look quite similar to the one on the previous model; however, the brand has tried to give them enough changes.

Features And Hardware

The new Pulsar 150 gets a completely new design. There is a sharper-looking headlight along with LED DRLs, sporty-looking tank extensions, and also a completely new tail-light. Along with this, the brand has also given the Pulsar 150 an all-new colour LCD console for the base variant, while the top-spec variants comes with a 5-inch TFT console. Both consoles feature smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts; however, the TFT console also gets document storage, music controls and a segment-first Google Maps mirroring. Other features include a USB Type-C charging port and a hazard light button.

Bajaj has also made significant changes underneath the new design. The Pulsar 150 gets a new frame, because of which the bike now comes equipped with a monoshock at the rear, replacing the conventional twin-shock setup. However, the motorcycle continues to use a telescopic fork at the front. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with an 80-section front and a 120-section rear tyre.

An All-New Heart

After decades, Bajaj has finally given the Pulsar 150 an all-new engine. It is air/oil-cooled and makes 14 PS and 14.1 Nm (0.85 Nm more than before). The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and is expected to offer a good balance of performance, refinement and everyday usability. The bike also gets a silent starter along with a switchable engine stop/start feature, which should help the bike to extract better mileage. Along with this, the brand has also given the Pulsar 150 a crawl feature, which should make riding this bike in traffic conditions quite easy.
