All Royal Enfield Bikes Are Now BS6.2 Compliant
With the BS 6.2 norms, select RE motorcycles have gotten dearer by Rs 3000
The BS 6.2 emission norms came into effect on April 1, 2023, and manufacturers are on a spree to update their motorcycle range. The government allowed sales of the old bikes until inventory lasts. Following that, the manufacturers would mandatorily have to make the bikes BS 6.2 or OBD-2 (equipped with the second-generation Onboard Diagnostics Device) compliant.
In order to comply with the new norms, Royal Enfield has updated its bikes, and some of them have witnessed a price hike. Here is a list of bikes that have become dearer.

Apart from being OBD2 compliant, the bikes are also E20 compliant, meaning they can run on mixed fuels with 80 percent petrol and up to 20 percent ethanol. Summing up, it’s heartening to know that the premium isn’t substantial enough to affect the buying decision. It's a really good bike to ride in the city. Really good torque and also has amazing exhaust. Note even with stock however the rear suspension is a bit hard. Not a bad bike at all if you are looking for daily commuting along with a good amount of power. Its good bike only if you can handle it because of its weigth and high cc, its not beginner friendly but if you have experience with high cc and heavy bike its gonna be best bike for its price. but its still not good for day to day or city driving because of its heating and low mileage, its gonna be a problem.Read More
Good but I think Royal Enfield should work on speed and mileage and they have to work on silencer because it is mainly known for its sound. If sound is getting silent in bs6, the bullet is generally getting downgraded ratings from all customers. Royal Enfield should work on this side and overall the experience is good.Read More
Good for city traffic and once the bike is ridden for 3/4 kms, its more smoother and with rising fuel price, the bike provides a very good mileage compared to its rivals and in long journeys Royal Enfield is much more reliable. This bike never disappoint. Very positive experience. I have been riding it in city traffic and compared to other bikes, this bikes is way more smoother and easy to handle. Good riding posture, good fuel economy, even long rides are fun to have in a Royal Enfield.
