Mahindra hasn’t made any mechanical changes to the motorcycle and thus it is powered by the same Single cylinder 4-Stroke Air cooled MCI-5 Engine which comes with a displacement of 106.7 cc and produces about 8.5 PS of peak power at 7500 RPM and 8.5 NM of peak torque at 5500 RPM. This engine has been mated to a constant mesh 4 speed gearbox and Mahindra claims that this engine is capable of returning an amazing fuel efficiency of 85.4 Kilometers to a liter of petrol and also comes with a 5 year warranty.

The Mahindra Centuro Rockstar is build on a Double cradle- Tubular structure and has been fitted with a Hydraulic suspension at its front and 5 step adjustable coiled spring suspension at its rear. The only down side of the motorcycle according to us is that it does not have an option of a disc brakes at its front wheels and has been fitted only with a 130 mm drum brakes for both its front and rear wheels
The Mahindra Centuro Rockstar although is special edition motorcycle from the stable of Mahindra but the pricing and features wise it get some tough competition from the Honda Dream Yuga
The Honda Dream Yuga is also a commuter offering from Honda. This motorcycle has been priced extremely well and is powered by a Air Cooled, 4 Stroke, 109cc; SI Engine combined with Honda Eco Technology (HET) and is capable of producing a decent power of 8.2bhp at 7500rpm and a maximum torque of 8.63Nm at 5500rpm. The HET technology helps the motorcycle to return an impressive fuel efficiency of 74kmpl. Priced at Rs. 45,101 (Ex Showroom Delhi) this motorcycle is a tough competitor of the Mahindra Centuro Rockstar.
