The 2016 Indian Auto Expo that saw over 6 lac visitors at India expo Mart finally came to an end on a successful note yesterday. Numerous auto manufacturers from across the globe actively took part in the biennial motor show to showcase their marvels with a total of 80 automotive unveilings. Besides displaying the products and concepts, the exhibitors also put emphasis on the visuals and look of their respective stalls in order to attract more visitors. For this reason, the venue was filled up with a number of impressive and delightful stalls with each one different from the rest in one way or the other.

Today, we bring you one such pavilion that appealed the most to us and it belonged to none other than the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer - Hero MotoCorp. The pavilion was quite awesome and even won the ‘CNBC best two-wheeler pavilion award’ at the 2016 Auto Expo. It is the second time that Hero has managed to bag the award for the best pavilion at the Auto Expo.

Let’s take a glance at the spectacular Hero pavilion and have a look at its major highlights.

Green Wall:

The theme Hero came with this year at the motor show was ‘Greenovation’. The concept put emphasis on conserving environment and planting the maximum number of trees and plants. For this reason, the company installed a ‘Green wall’ at the pavilion that came across as its prime highlight. The wall consisted of 8000 live plants and is said to be a replica of the wall that exist in Hero MotoCorp’s factory at Neemrana in Rajasthan. The wall at the Neemrana plant generates enough oxygen during a day which is useful for 3700 people working there.

Kinetic Wall:

As it was an automotive pavilion designed to attract engineers who love vehicles featuring an amazing maze of pistons and valves, another concept that rocked the venue was the ‘Kinetic wall - Engineering Art’. It was designed by a group of students of IIT Roorkee and was made with the numerous pistons of the Hero Karizma motorcycle.

Digital Heart:

The company displayed its innovation, thoughts and creations on multiple screens at its pavilion. These digital screens were put together in the shape of a heart and the arrangement was named Digital Heart.

Hero MotoCorp showcased four two-wheelers at the 2016 Auto Expo namely Duet E, XF3R, Xtreme 200S and the new Splendor iSmart. With such an impressive display and its ‘change with time’ philosophy, Hero MotoCorp indeed deserves to be known as the leading two-wheeler manufacturer across the globe.
