These bikes look like pre-production versions as elements like taillights, rear indicators, and saree guards missing

Yezdi recently showcased a few bikes at a dealer event. The bike with the bright red colour scheme is what we believe to be the upcoming Yezdi Roadking. However, the manufacturer had earlier confirmed that the Roadking won’t be based on the brand’s existing platform and will be its flagship bike.

So, this one could just be a preview of the production-spec Roadking as we can see that it has the same 334cc engine like the other Yezdi bikes. Moreover, the absence of elements like taillights, rear indicators, and saree guards also shows that this isn’t the final production version.

The Yezdi Roadking can be seen with a boxy fuel tank with tank grips. It has simple side panels with the Yezdi logo and features a retro-themed red paint scheme with blue stripes. It gets a chunky upswept exhaust.

The Roadking gets LED indicators at the front and the round headlight is also expected to be an LED unit. While it gets a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster, the toggle buttons on the left switchgear hint at the presence of a digital inset. The retro roadster has a wide handlebar, a spacious single-piece seat and mid-set footpegs, which should offer an upright riding posture. It is equipped with a telescopic fork with fork gaiters and a monoshock. Moreover, it features luggage hooks under the rear seat and has alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres.

The Yezdi Roadking is likely to be launched this year and we expect it to be priced at around Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

A few seconds into the video, we can also spot the Yezdi Scrambler, Adventure and Roadster standing beside the Roadking. The Yezdi Scrambler can be seen with a twin exhaust that looks quite big. It has a wide handlebar and features twin rear shocks. The bike has a revised graphic on the side panel with a ‘334’ decal, instead of the characteristic Yezdi ‘Y’ logo. The Yezdi Adventure features a revised high-set rear fender and block-pattern off-road tyres. It is expected to get a few aesthetic and possibly mechanical changes. The Yezdi Roadster has a raked-out front and chopped fenders. It appears to have a revised instrument cluster, which may be a twin-pod layout, instead of the current model’s LCD single-pod unit.
