  • The X440 gets a much bigger engine than the Honda, but the latter produces more power, however, at 27.4 Nm it produces less torque.

  • The X440 feels relaxed, easy-going and the same is expected from the Rebel 300.

  • However, with the E-Clutch technology in the upcoming Rebel 300, the riding experience is expected to be easier.  

The Harley-Davidson X440 is built for relaxed riding, while the Rebel might offer sportier performance.

  • Both bikes get all-LED lighting with the headlight, taillight and indicators designed to suit the retro vibe of these bikes. 

  • The X440 also gets a TFT console, however, the Vivid variant gets an LCD console. 

  • The Rebel 300 will also offer Bluetooth connectivity as standard, while on the X440 Bluetooth connectivity is available only on the S variant, and the base variant misses out on it. 

  • The Rebel gets switchable traction control as standard, whereas traction control is reserved for the top spec of the X440. 

So overall in terms of features, the Rebel has the edge.

  • While both bikes have similar underpinnings, the Rebel gets much more accessible seat height. 

  • The Rebel 300 should feel more flickable – it is 18.5 kg lighter than the X440, also this should make the bike much more easier to manage.

The low-end performance on the Harley-Davidson X440 is better and focuses more on providing a relaxed riding experience. The Rebel 300 too is expected to offer a comfortable ride, however the engine is expected to offer much more engaging performance than the X440. Also, the X440 is priced at Rs 2,59,000 (ex-showroom), while the Rebel 300 is also expected to be priced similarly once it gets officially launched in India
