  • The Honda CB500 gets a bigger engine and produces slightly more power (+1.1 PS) and a massive 5.3 Nm more torque.The X440 feels relaxed and easygoing. On the other hand, the CB500 should feel a bit more spirited and a lot more torquey. 

  • The X440 gets a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch, whereas the CB500 will come with a 5-speed gearbox.

  • While both bikes have almost similar underpinnings, the CB 500 will come  with a switchable traction control as standard. The X440 also gets traction control but it is reserved for the top variants only.

The Honda CB500 has a slight advantage in terms of underpinnings, as it gets switchable ABS, traction control and has variants with tubeless cross-spoke wheels.
