Top 5 Bikes You Can Buy For The Price Of An Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max
Forget selling kidneys (yes, plural this time) for the new top-end iPhone! You can buy one of these cool bikes!
Apple launched the iPhone 17 in India, and the rest of the world, in all the glory you would expect from the brand. However what caught our eye was the iPhone 17 Pro Max – its top-end 2TB variant specifically, which costs a whopping Rs 2.3 lakh (no ex-showroom business here). That makes it not only the most expensive iPhone in India, but also the costliest phone in the country! While we don’t doubt that Apple has given it its best, what’s striking is the fact that there are a bunch of very interesting bikes that cost the same – with a good performance and features nonetheless.
Like many in our team, if you are someone who’d prefer to break their piggy bank for some two-wheeled goodness instead of a latest and greatest iPhone, here are 5 bikes that you can buy for the same price as the 17 Pro Max:
Royal Enfield Classic 350
Rs 1,97,253 - Rs 2,34,972 (ex-showroom)
A cult classic, literally and figuratively. This Classic 350 has been a popular choice of retro bike enthusiasts in India. It has remained true to its original appeal, but has gotten a few updates over the years to remain relevant. Nonetheless, there’s nothing better if you love the iconic ‘dugdug’ sound.
The Emerald, Stealth Black, and Gun Grey are top 3 most expensive Royal Enfield Classic colours, which are similarly priced as the iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB. If you like relaxed cruising down the streets or the highways and hate social media and the attention-diverting phone addiction, the Classic is the one that’ll keep your heart and mind happy.
KTM 200 Duke
Rs 2,07,538 (ex-showroom)
The original pocket rocket from KTM in India, the 200 Duke has always flirted with the fine line between being a “beginner” sporty bike and an upgrade for those seeking performance. Its value-for-performance factor is almost unbeatable in its class. That said, the Duke has been available in orange, long before the iPhone!
TVS Apache RTR 310
Rs 2,39,990 - Rs 3,11,000 (ex-showroom)
The TVS Apache RTR 310 is the bike if you are looking at superbike-like features and electronics, with a healthy dose of performance - and it looks good while doing all of that. The best news? If you can wait till September 22, you can get it for an even cheaper price, and here’s how. This Apache also can be had in blue, just like the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450
Rs 2,39,000 - Rs 2,54,00 (ex-showroom)
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla is a retro-styled roadster, which is unlike anything one would expect from the brand. While it’s based on the same platform as the Himalayan, it breaks away from the laidback attitude associated with most Royal Enfield bikes. So much so, that it almost goes to the opposite end - being a fun-to-ride urban roadster with enough grunt to also handle the weekend breakfast rides.
Suzuki V-Strom SX
Rs 2,16,000 (ex-showroom)
Probably one of the most easy-to-ride adventure bikes in India, the Suzuki V-Strom SX, is built on the same platform as the Gixxer SF 250 and the Gixxer 250. This road-biased ADV offers a comfortable riding posture, has enough firepower to take on the highways and the bad patches of roads as well. It feels robust, well-made, and has a refined engine - all of which make it an easy-to-recommend bike.

I had to many optoins when it comes to mid range cc segment and goes for the budget and this stole my eye with the colours, the glare its has some charm that i wanted to hold and drive and honestly, its been great. Its been hell of a ride and i give it the best bike the enfield ever released the bike, I mean i'm not a guy who has issues with mileage or maintaince, but if you are it might be troublesome except that runs like a butter. Of course, if youre someone who wants to have a classic bike with power torque and i quote an indian brand cause i'm proud as hell while riding this beauty and beast, it gives butterflies not exaggerated.
