Our sources have revealed the brand plans to launch a new bike every 1.5 months from now on

  • The first motorcycle to be updated to BS6 will be the Benelli TRK 502.
  • It is likely to be followed by the Leoncino 500 and the TNT 300.
  • Expect the 502C cruiser to make its India debut too.

Benelli seems to have a lot of big plans for India this year. According to our sources, the brand is looking to launch a new bike every 1.5 months from now on. We’ve already seen the leaked images of the Benelli TRK 502, and it’s obvious Benelli will begin its 2021 product onslaught with the upcoming middleweight adventure tourer.

This is likely to be followed by the Benelli Leoncino 500, a neo-retro roadster. Expect this motorcycle to be powered by the same BS6-compliant engine as the TRK 502. Next, we could get the Benelli 502C, a performance-oriented cruiser that looks eerily similar to the Ducati Diavel 1260.

Benelli had already planned to launch several new models between 2020 and 2021 but the timeline had to be deferred due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That said, when it comes to launch priority, expect Benelli to adhere to the original plan. With that in mind, the 500cc lineup could be followed up by the sub-400cc range, including the BS6 TNT 300 and BS6 Leoncino 250.

Benelli may launch the BS6-compliant new-generation TNT 600 by the end of this year, followed up by the 600RR faired bike, the TRK 800 ADV, and the Leoncino 800 scrambler. The launch of these models could trail up to the next year.

All in all, 2021 looks pretty interesting for Benelli as it prepares to face fiercer competition from its rivals. What do you guys think?
