The Benelli Leoncino 500 is a neo-retro bike and has classic inspired themes like a round headlamp, minimal bodywork, exposed frame, sculpted fuel tank with clean lines, flat and wide handlebar. The lion emblem on the front fender references the name ‘Leonchino’ - which means Lion Cub in Italian.

The Benelli Leoncino 500 is powered by a 500cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 47.5PS at 8,500rpm and 46Nm at 6,000rpm. The engine has a double overhead camshaft (4 valves per cylinder) with electronic fuel injection and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. It has a claimed 23.8kmpl mileage and 160kmph top speed.

The motorcycle is built on a steel trellis frame, tubular swingarm, 50mm inverted front fork with 125mm of travel and a preload-adjustable monoshock with 51mm travel. It runs on 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels with a 120-section front and 160-section rear, both tubeless Pirelli Angel STs. It has dual 320mm front discs, 260mm rear disc, 207kg dry weight, 810mm seat height, 160mm ground clearance, and 12.7-litre fuel tank capacity.
