If you’re not sold on the Glamour Xtec, here are five alternatives you can consider

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour Xtec in India from Rs 78,900. It’s the most feature-packed 125cc commuter currently available in the market. However, if you aren’t smitten by the latest Glamour, here are a few other options you can check out:

Suzuki Access 125- Rs 72,600

While the Hero Glamour Xtec would make for a good city slicker, a scooter such as the Suzuki Access 125 would prove to be no less. Moreover, it too gets a 124cc motor that makes 8.7PS and 10Nm. Adding to the overall usability is the underseat storage space and the footboard area. Besides, the Suzuki Access is available in a plethora of variants, right from the base drum brake version priced at Rs 72,600 to the feature-loaded disc brake version with Bluetooth connectivity for Rs 81,800.

Honda Shine- Rs 72,787

The Hero Glamour Xtec has a long list of foes, with one of the prominent ones being the Honda Shine. It’s powered by a 124cc motor that makes 10.7PS and 11Nm, 0.1PS less and 0.4Nm more than the Xtec. While it’s not as loaded as the Hero commuter, the Shine features a segment-first ACG starter motor, which offers extremely silent, almost noiseless starts and a start/stop switch. Honda offers the Shine in two variants: drum priced at Rs 72,727 and disc at  Rs 77,582.

Bajaj Pulsar 125- Rs 77,843

Another 125cc motorcycle that you could choose over the Hero Glamour Xtec is the Bajaj Pulsar 125 priced from Rs 77,843. It’s powered by a similar-sized motor that makes 11.8PS and 10.8Nm, 1PS and 0.2Nm more than the Glamour. If you prefer no-nonsense motorcycles, you should consider the Bajaj Pulsar 125.

Honda SP125- Rs 78,381

Ruffling a few feathers in Hero’s nest is the SP125 from Honda. The bike is available in a drum variant at Rs 78,381 and a disc variant that retails at Rs 82,677. It’s powered by a 124cc engine that churns out an identical 10.8PS as the Glamour Xtec and 0.3Nm more than it. The SP125 features an all-LED headlamp, a fully digital instrument cluster with real-time and average efficiency, range, and even a gear position indicator.

TVS NTorq 125- Rs 72,270

If you’re looking for a sporty scooter in this space, the TVS NTorq 125 is your best bet. It’s available in as many as five variants, with the top-of-the-line NTorq Race XP priced at Rs 83,275. Its 124cc motor makes 10.2PS and 10.8Nm. Moreover, the TVS scooter not only offers ease of storage, but it’s also loaded with features such as ride modes, voice assist, mode change, navigation, console brightness adjustment, and DnD mode.
