    Honda Motorcycle And Scooter has officially opened bookings for the 2025 CBR650R and CB650R across India via its BigWing dealerships. The bikes were off sale for more than a year, as they were discontinued for a while. Both are now back in updated form and with a refreshed styling.

    Pricing

    The Honda CBR650R has been priced at Rs 9.99 lakh and CB650R at Rs 9.20 lakh (both ex-showroom). The booking amount, however, varies depending on the city: Rs 10,000 in Mumbai, Rs 22,600 in Delhi, and Rs 50,000 in Bangalore.

    Design

    The 2025 CBR650R and CB650R come with a refreshed, sharper design as compared to its predecessor. The bikes look more aggressive than before, thanks to the redesigned headlights which add to their sporty appearance. The CBR650R side panels get new cuts and creases, and the tail section is the sameon both, which is upswept.

    Engine

    Both are powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline, four-cylinder engine that makes 95PS at 12,000rpm, 63Nm at 9,500rpm, and comes paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

    Underpinnings

    Suspension wise, both bikes come with a Showa SFF-BP inverted fork and a 10-step preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking is handled by twin 310mm front discs and a single disc at the rear. They ride on 17-inch wheels at both ends, with a 120-section front and a 180-section rear tyre.

    Features

    One of the notable updates to the motorcycles is the new 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth, call and SMS alerts, and Honda RoadSync app connectivity. They also gets LED lighting all around.

    Rivals

    Both are a competitive and competent option in the middleweight bike category. The CBR650R rivals the Triumph Daytona 660, the upcoming Yamaha R7, the Aprilia RS660, and the Suzuki GSX-8R. Meanwhile, the CB650R goes up against bikes like the Triumph Trident 660, the Aprilia Tuono 660, the upcoming Yamaha MT-07, and the Kawasaki Z900.
