Honda 350cc Bikes And Others: Prices To Go DOWN By Up To Rs 19,000 Under New GST 2.0
We’ve listed the full variant-wise pricing for all Honda bikes from 184cc to 350cc
Honda has a wide range of models, from simple commuters to more premium offerings. With GST 2.0 coming into effect from September 22, 2025, a lot of the bikes under 350cc will see price cuts.
While we have covered the Honda scooter price reduction and also Honda commuter bikes price cuts in separate stories, the premium Honda bikes - 184cc to 350cc will witness a drop of up to Rs 19,000. This is because under the new tax regime, bikes and scooters under 350cc will be taxed at 18 percent instead of the current 28 percent.
Here’s our detailed breakdown of the current prices and expected prices once the GST cuts come into effect. We have made the calculation by making the necessary GST adjustments on the ex-factory price and then have given the final expected ex-showroom prices. That said, as per Honda’s announcement, the GST savings for some of the models are even higher - possibly indicating that the brand is taking extra steps to ensure even lower prices.

The Honda Hornet 2.0 is a premium sporty naked from the brand, with a 184cc air-cooled engine. While it isn’t as feature-packed as its immediate rival, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, the price reduction will certainly make it a bit more value-for-money bike. That said, even the Apache RTR 200’s price will go down once the GST 2.0 comes into effect.
The Honda NX200 is an adventure tourer based on the Hornet 2.0. The bike offers relaxed riding ergonomics along with good engine refinement. It is for those riders who were looking for a simple adventure bike for highway riding. Both the Hornet 2.0 and the NX200 are powered by the same 184.4cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 17PS and 15.7Nm.
However, the bike is quite expensive and lacks meaningful upgrades over the Hornet except for the block pattern tyres and different design. There’s no increased travel in the suspension, nor a different engine tuning suited for the bike’s character. Hence, the reduced price under GST 2.0 should make it a more viable option for those riders who want a no-nonsense, affordable highway touring bike with Japanese engineering.

The Honda CB300F is more of a premium 300cc commuter, with sporty and aggressive looks. It has a somewhat similar design and styling as the Honda Hornet 2.0, but manages to look a bit more muscular with its larger headlight and stylish graphics. It is powered by a 293.52cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 24.4PS and 25.6Nm.
While it was pretty expensive when it was first launched, Honda then reduced the price by almost Rs 60,000 in September 2023. Now with the upcoming GST 2.0-led price cut, the Hornet finally seems to be a fair deal. Note that this is as per our calculation, as Honda had not mentioned the GST savings for this particular bike in its statement. Those looking for a muscular yet fairly fuel-efficient streetfighter will like the CB300F, especially with its flex-fuel compatibility - an important aspect to consider in the current scenario.
As for the Honda CB300R, we haven’t taken it into consideration because we have come to know through our dealership sources that the bike has been discontinued in India.

The Honda CB350 is a simple retro roadster, complete with a pea-shooter exhaust. On the other hand, the Honda H’ness CB350 looks a little more premium and slightly more modern with lots of chrome highlights and different colour schemes. The CB350RS is the most modern-looking bike of the three, with a scrambler-themed styling, armed with block-pattern tyres. They all rival other 300-350cc bikes from Jawa, Yezdi and Royal Enfield. With prices going down for all the three, Honda should be able to gain a bit more market share - especially this festive season. We hope the brand or at least dealers, come up with festive offers and schemes to sweeten the deal even further.
If you’re looking to get a Honda bike under 350cc, we would suggest waiting till September 22, 2025 to take full advantage of the tax cuts. As for bikes above 350cc (Rebel 500, NX500 and other big bikes) Honda says it is evaluating the GST, so stay tuned.
User Reviews
I chose this bike because mainly my routes are on highways and ofcourse, because of the japanese reliability honda offers, plus it's the best bike in the segment in my opinion as it gets a fair amount of safety features like traction control, dual channel abs and because of the slipper clutch provided, gear changing and overall the engine is butter smooth. Also it gives the best mileage in the segment too, as I have ridden a classic 350 before, I can definitely tell the difference. Rides are butter smooth, it's like the bike is gliding, absolutely 0 vibration, it's not that comfortable as the hness 350 as it has a more aggressive riding stanc than the hness, but it's fairly comfortable, not that bad, the only thing bugs me are the stock seats, it's very uncomfortable for the pillion and your rear may hurt a little on long rides, but overall I'll rate it a 4/5, which is not bad at all. If you want the best looking neo retro bike in the segment, the cb350 RS is for you hands down, it has great mileage, very low maintenance cost, fairly comfortable (change the stock seats) and it feels rarer than other bikes in the segment as the BigWing network is so limited, and that gives you the satisfaction you need.Read More
I found this bike with unique design and features in affordable price, I like it's bulk tire, comfort and handling with excellent 185 CC power and affordable mileage, it solved my travelling problem of daily use and mid long drives. Good handling and comfort but getting different noise from engine after 50 speed, sometimes gear is getting stuck when trying to switch faster otherwise bike is good for comfort, handling, pickup and power. Navigation map should display the full map instead if only arrow and direction, small carrier should be there to keep some tools for minor mechanics, display should big 1 inch more, big foot pedal should be there for back seat. Engine is refined, no vibration even driving on speed 100, suspension is stiffer side which become positive for highway rides. Good highway if your continuously riding on highway. Will get 40 plus mileage on highway if cruising on 80 speed. Handling is good. Breaking is fantastic even on high speed braking will provide enough confidence to control on it. Bigger negative is, need to shift the gear during on city rides. I would its one of bad bike if you are driving on city. Go for it if you riding on highway, will get 40 plus mileage which is an edge of this bike. Smother and refined engine will provide an next level experience on highway. DUAL Channel abs and traction work fantastic and provide too much confidence during braking.Read More
Different looks and a bit adventure tourer and a powerful bike at a lower price, there is no powerful bike in the market in this price range , such a good looking bike after yamaha fz. Display is brighter Good in handling and mileage but stiff suspension and lower travel suspension pillion seat is not comfortable at all problem in shifting gears. Should add more themes on the tft display and add some mode like rain tour etc. Yes because there is no bike in the market in this price range this is the bike after yamaha fz. Powerfull engine headlight is much brighter, great mileage of 54 on highway and upto 50 in city , recommend for daily ride and little long tour. Read More
