Hero has launched the Xtreme 160R 4V in a more premium and sporty avatar in three new variants. Head here for all the details about the bike. The Connect and Pro variants get Hero Connect 2.0 and a lot of nifty features on offer. What are they? We explain below.

Safety features

The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V prioritises rider and bike safety with alerts for ignition, falls, crashes, and overspeeding. It even includes an SOS button on the bike for immediate assistance.

Security Features

Adding to the suite are alerts for theft, battery removal and geofence, which shuts down the bike if it exits the geofence range. It also has a feature to switch off the bike remotely.

Maps

For more convenience, you can also track your location as well as share the same via the smartphone app. Also, Hero says that it gets navigation; however, it can only be accessed on your phone and not on the bike’s console.

Vehicle Health

To keep track of your vehicle's health, the Xtreme 160R gets vehicle diagnostics, malfunction alerts and maintenance alerts.

Trip Details

With this feature, you can track and analyse your trips. This should be useful for getting insights on your rides.

Summing up, the bike is priced at Rs 1,27,300 for the Standard variant, Rs 1,32,800  for the Connect variant and Rs 1,36,500 for the Pro variant (Prices ex-showroom Delhi).
