Currently, the brand is operational only in Delhi and Pune

  • The Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 are the only electric motorcycles currently sold in India.
  • Price starts from Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom, including subsidy).
  • One can also opt for the monthly plan, which starts from Rs 2,999/month for 37 months.
  • The brand is likely to enter new markets next month.

Revolt dominated headlines when it launched India’s first electric motorcycle range, the RV 400 and the RV 300. The startup launched the bikes in Delhi and Pune in August 2019. It had earlier planned to enter newer markets like NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai in the following months. It appears that the company has taken a bit of time and our sources have now revealed its immediate expansion plans.

The brand will enter the capital cities Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad with multiple dealerships. Expect Revolt to add more dealerships in the respective states as well. There’s no confirmation regarding the exact dates, but Revolt is likely to expand in March this year. Expect the brand to make an announcement soon.

Revolt sells its range in four dealerships in Delhi and two in Pune. Deliveries commenced in Delhi from October 2019 and in Pune from December 2019.

What makes this motorcycle unique is that it features swappable battery technology and a unique monthly subscription scheme. One can own the Revolt RV 300 by paying Rs 2,999 for 37 months and the top-of-the-line RV 400 for the same time frame by paying Rs 3,999 per month. There is also the option of buying the electric bike by paying an upfront cost. While the RV 300 costs Rs 84,999, the RV400 is priced at Rs 98,999 (ex-showroom, including FAME-II subsidy).
