The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and the Shotgun 650 are two very different offerings from the manufacturer, and they deliver completely different performance levels and riding experiences. Here are the top five differences between these two retro-modern motorcycles:
Design


Both Royal Enfield bikes are poles apart in terms of looks. The Guerrilla 450 features a sporty and compact stance, complemented by neatly integrated retro design elements. It gets a round LED headlamp, a well-sculpted metal fuel tank, a compact yet spacious seat, and chunky block-pattern tyres. All of this combined gives the Guerrilla 450 a mild scrambler-like appearance.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, on the other hand, is a proper bobber-style motorcycle based on the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. It comes with all-metal body panels, a wide metal fuel tank, chopped fenders, and a factory-fitted single-seat setup. To complete its bobber look, Royal Enfield has equipped it with chunky, road-biased tyres. While both bikes offer funky paint schemes that suit their fun and retro character, their visual appeal is vastly different.
Engine


The Guerrilla 450 uses the same 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. This motor produces 40PS and 40Nm, and is praised for its quick acceleration and energetic performance.
The Shotgun 650 is powered by the familiar 649cc parallel-twin engine from Royal Enfield’s 650 lineup. It generates 47PS and 52Nm, and is known for its buttery-smooth refinement, strong mid-range grunt, and likeable exhaust note. While both engines offer enjoyable performance, the 650 twin stands out for its superior refinement.
Underpinnings


Both motorcycles use a steel tube frame and a 43mm inverted front fork. The Shotgun 650 gets twin rear shock absorbers with preload adjustability, whereas the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 uses a more modern monoshock setup. Both bikes feature a 320mm front disc brake. At the rear, the Shotgun 650 comes with a larger 300mm disc, while the Guerrilla 450 gets a 270mm disc.
A major difference between the two is their kerb weight. The Shotgun 650 weighs 240kg (kerb), making it a substantial 55kg heavier than the Guerrilla 450, which tips the scales at 185kg. The Guerrilla 450 runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with a 120-section front and 160-section rear, block pattern tyres. The Shotgun 650 comes with 18-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with a 100-section front and a 130-section rear tyre.
Features


In this comparison, the Shotgun 650 is the more basic motorcycle in terms of features. It gets an analogue speedometer paired with a digital display that shows the gear position, odometer, trip meter, and more. It also comes with a Tripper navigation pod that supports smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation.
The Guerrilla 450, meanwhile, is better equipped. It gets a round TFT display similar to the Himalayan 450, smartphone connectivity, SMS and call alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation. It can also project Google Maps directly from the smartphone. Additionally, the bike offers two ride modes: Eco and Performance. Apart from this, both motorcycles come with dual-channel ABS and a slipper clutch as standard.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is considerably more expensive than the Guerrilla 450. Both motorcycles offer different styling, performance, riding feel, and features. This is a great bike which never disappoint riderI was looking perfect combo of performance and the retro look of royal enfield. That's when I came accross this bike guerilla 450 a perfect combination of style, performance, looks, features. If someone is looking for an upgrade they must consider it. Pros that the power of 40 bhp can be actually feel while riding the initial pull on second gear and the bike goes insanely fast.this bike also got full tft display which several useful features such as navigation, etc cons of this bikes are its has low mileage as it's 450 but it also got lower fuel tank capacity which leads to frequent fuel stops. the initial low end torque of all the gears except 1st gear is way less.
