2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150: Same Price Different Choices

Bajaj Auto recently launched the updated Pulsar 150 in India at Rs 1,15,481 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The iconic motorcycle has finally received a refreshed front fascia, new colour options, and a few essential feature additions. However, if you’re looking at alternatives in the same price bracket, there are several compelling two-wheelers worth considering.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
Price - Rs 1,17,183 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a noticeably sportier alternative to the Bajaj Pulsar 150. It is powered by a 159.7cc single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine that produces 17.55PS and 14.14Nm, which is significantly more than the Pulsar (which makes 14PS and 13.4Nm). This translates to stronger real-world performance and a more engaging ride. The Apache also packs a rich feature list, including smartphone connectivity with call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, top speed recorder, and more. It’s an ideal choice for riders who want a fun, performance-oriented motorcycle.
Honda Unicorn 160

The Honda Unicorn 160 has been a long-standing rival to the Pulsar 150. It features a clean, conventional design that still appeals to many buyers. The bike gets a slightly larger 162.71cc engine, although its power output is quite similar to the Pulsar’s. The Unicorn has reliability and refinement that Honda bikes are famous for, which makes it an easy choice for many.
Yamaha FZ-X
Price - Rs 1,20,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The Yamaha FZ-X adds a neo-retro touch to Yamaha’s popular FZ lineup. It uses the same 149cc engine found on other FZ models, producing 12.4PS and 13.3Nm, which is slightly lower than the Pulsar 150. Despite this, the FZ-X stands out with its retro-inspired design, comfortable ride quality, and Yamaha’s proven reliability. Vida VX2 Plus
Price - Rs 94,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
If you’re open to going electric, the Vida VX2 Plus is an interesting alternative. The e-scooter comes with two removable battery packs with a combined capacity of 3.4kWh. It accelerates from 0 to 40kmph in 3.3 seconds, has a top speed of 80kmph, and offers a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 142km. It also features a touchscreen instrument console, smartphone connectivity, navigation, and several other modern tech features.
TVS Ntorq 150
Price - Rs 1,09,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
For buyers who prefer a scooter over a bike, the TVS Ntorq 150 is a strong option at this price point. It is powered by a 149.7cc single-cylinder engine producing 13.2PS and 14.2Nm, making it one of the quickest scooters in its segment. The Ntorq also comes loaded with features such as all-LED lighting, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and live location tracking. On top of that, it offers excellent practicality with 22 litres of underseat storage, a 2-litre glovebox, a spacious floorboard, and a comfortable seat.

Needed something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done. So I buy this. In this scooter, better comfort than other scooter. This is cost effective scooter. When your daily running is under 80 km, then this will best for you. This is RTO registered scooter. I choose Honda unicorn because of refined engine. Comfortable wide seat, good suspension, good mileage. And it's reputation in market. KALA GHODA is not a just bike it's emotion. Spare parts easily available. The ride is very smooth and comfortable. For daily travelling in city is very comfortable. Suspension absorbs pithole and rough road very well. The engine is refined and vibration free in this segment. Mileage is sometime give 55 on highways. Yes I would recommend the Honda unicorn because of its engine is very reliable. This is a good and mast bike hai. Apko agar lena hai to app lo isme koi problem nahi hai. Isme jada tar safety ka bhi dhyan diya gaya hai to app aram se buy kar sakte ho.
