Our dealer sources have confirmed that select Honda Big Wing dealerships in major cities of India have unofficially started taking bookings for the upcoming XR 300 L, XR 300 Rally and ADV 160. The booking amount is reportedly around Rs 5,000, although the exact amount may vary between dealerships.

The three models are part of Honda’s new India-bound lineup announced earlier this year. Honda has confirmed that the models will be introduced in phases, but has not announced official launch dates or prices yet.

The XR 300 L, positioned as a dual-sport motorcycle, and the more adventure-focused XR 300 Rally are likely to appeal to riders looking for capable motorcycles for both everyday riding and off-road touring. The XR 300 Rally, in particular, gets a rally-inspired design and hardware aimed at tackling rough terrain.

Meanwhile, the ADV 160 will mark Honda’s entry into the premium adventure-scooter space in India. It gets a maxi-scooter design with a more upright riding position and practical features, making it a potential rival to scooters such as the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Hero Xoom 160. Another highlight about the ADV 160 is that the model which was showcased recently was an E-85 compliant vehicle. This will surely give an upper-hand to the Honda when compared to its rivals.

While unofficial bookings have reportedly started, buyers should note that these are dealer-level registrations of interest and not official bookings announced by Honda.

I driven this scooter in Thailand. I wish it would be the same when it comes to India, mostly they reduce the power and might make it slow, but I'm still waiting for it. Its like a bike that's all it matters to me. I might tuned it though and might change alot of parts so it operates max with its power.
