TVS Tangent RR Concept Design Patent Filed: Final Form Will Be Apache RR 450
The Apache RR 450 will be TVS' flagship twin-cylinder, fully-faired sportbike

The TVS Tangent RR Concept was showcased as a concept earlier at EICMA 2025 back in November last year, and now the same exact design has been filed as a patent. Companies often file patents to protect their designs, so it does not always mean the bike will go into production. That said, it gives us an idea about the production version of the bike, the TVS Apache RR 450.
Design
The Tangent RR has a fully-faired, aggressive sportbike design. It has a split, twin headlamp setup, a short windscreen, and low clip-on handlebars for a committed riding position. The fuel tank is muscular, the tail section is sharp, compact and raised.

Engine & Hardware
The Tangent RR is expected to use the new 420cc twin-cylinder engine from the BMW F 450 GS. The tuning could be adjusted to suit its sporty nature. The patent images also show an underseat exhaust and 17-inch wheels. Suspension wise, it gets an upside-down fork and monoshock. It has dual front discs and a single rear disc brake.
BikeDekho Says
While this particular bike will not be launched, its production iteration, the Apache RR 450 will definitely be launched in India. In fact, the Apache RR 450 was spotted testing recently, and will likely be launched by the end of this year. When launched, the RR 450 will compete with other twin-cylinder bikes like the Aprilia RS 457 and Yamaha R3.
