2025 Honda Activa: What's New?

The updated Activa now gets a TFT display, navigation, and more

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the 2025 Activa at a starting price of Rs 80,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It brings a fresh set of new features, while still maintaining the scooter's signature design.

Features

The biggest update to the recently launched 2025 Honda Activa is the new 4.2-inch TFT instrument console. This display comes with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to pair their smartphones with the Honda RoadSync app for turn-by-turn navigation, call, and message alerts. Additionally, the scooter now also features a USB Type-C charging port.

Design, Variants And Colours

The overall design of the new Honda Activa still remains the same. The scooter now comes with alloy wheels even in the DLX variant, which were previously only available on the top-spec H-Smart model. It has three variants in total: STD, DLX, and the H-Smart. It gets the same six colour options as before: Pearl Precious White, Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.

Engine

Mechanically, the Honda Activa remains largely unchanged, continuing with the same 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 8PS and 9.05Nm. However, the engine now complies with the latest OBD2B emission norms, ensuring it meets stricter environmental standards. To improve fuel efficiency, an idle start-stop system has been added, which automatically switches off the engine when idling.

Rivals

The Activa faces competition from other popular 110cc scooters like the TVS Jupiter, the Hero Pleasure Plus, the Honda Dio, the Hero Xoom 110, and the TVS Scooty Zest.

BikeDekho Says

The 2025 Honda Activa brings much-needed technological upgrades to one of India’s most iconic scooters. With the introduction of a TFT display, smartphone connectivity, and an idle start-stop system, it now offers more features to cater to the new generation and young riders. While the engine and design remain largely the same, these updates make the Activa even more appealing.

I can't explain my feelings for this vehicle

Yes, There are so many things why I choose this scooter, first of all the colours like feel attractive and cool. Looks like classic and design is too good. comfort is excellent, overall nice experience. Universally trusted, relaxed and stable city ride. With its smooth linear acceleration (ideal between 40-70 km/h), effortless automatic CVT transmission and comfortable upright seating. It dominates Indian roads. Yes always, because this is the most classic and like always feel comfortable for any long and short travelling so I always recommend this vehicle and I personally feel too good that's why I purchased. Definite recommendation because features are limited, but whatever is given is well tested and bug free for lifetime. No flashy features that will fail down over the time. That is what is Honda known for. Never fails at any features provided. Read More
