The updated Hero Super Splendor was spotted testing, with  upgraded underpinnings. Here’s what it has: 

Design

The 2025 Hero Super Splendor, retains its current design but has been seen with a new all-black paint scheme. It misses out the graphics that are on the current Black and Accent paint scheme. 

 The bike still has an upright riding position with centre-set footpegs, a raised single-piece handlebar and a long single-piece seat. 

Engine

The 2025 Super Splendor will get the same 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 10.7PS and 10.6Nm, as before but will now be OBD-2B compliant to meet the latest emission norms. The 5-speed gearbox is also expected to remain the same as before.

Underpinnings

The bike seen here gets a new pair of rear suspension - most likely the same one as that on the Glamour. The bike being tested has a pillion rider as well. This might be done to gather data on the new rear suspension’s performance with added weight, and calibration for the same. 

Other underpinnings are expected to remain the same with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in a 80-section front and 100-section rear tubeless tyres. For the brakes, the test mule was spotted with a front disc, similar to the disc brake variant of the current Super Splendor and will likely get a 240mm front disc along with a 130mm rear drum brake. But now, with slightly different underpinnings, the bike could  have a different kerb weight and seat height.

Features

It is still unclear what features the test mule is equipped with. But, the current Hero Super Splendor is equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster showing essential information from speedometer, tachometer, tripmeters, and a real-time mileage indicator. It also gets a USB charging port for added convenience. For safety, the bike is expected to get a side-stand engine cut-off feature that switches off the engine as soon as the side stand is deployed.

Launch and Price

The 2025 Hero Super Splendor is currently undergoing testing near its manufacturing facility in Jaipur. The bike is very likely to be launched in a few months as it was spotted without camouflage and is expected to be priced marginally higher than the top variant of the current Super Splendor which is priced at Rs 84,748 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
