BREAKING: Updated Yezdi Roadster & Jawa 42 Dual Tone Launched!
Apart from cosmetic changes, both bikes get hardware changes as well
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the updated Yezdi Roadster and a Dual Tone variant of the Jawa 42. The updated Yezdi Roadster is priced at Rs 2,08,829 and the Jawa 42 Dual Tone is priced at Rs 1,98,142. The prices for the other colour variants of the Jawa 42 and the existing Yezdi Roadster have now gone down too as they start at Rs 1,89,142 and Rs 2,06,142 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
The updated Yezdi Roadster has got changes in its ergonomics like revised footpegs setup for the rider (which are now more forward set by 155mm) and a taller handlebar to make it more touring friendly. Design changes include sportier looking tank grips, diamond-cut alloy wheels, new handlebar grips and handlebar-mounted mirrors. It also gets new exhausts with a new matte black finish. The updated Roadster is available in four new colour options: Rush Hour Red, Forest Green, and Lunar White and Shadow Grey. The rest of the bike remains the same and powering it is the same 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 29.5PS and 28.9Nm. The updated Yezdi Roadster will be sold alongside the older model.
The Jawa 42 Dual Tone variant gets clear lens indicators, new fenders, a redesigned seat and a new fuel tank design along with diamond-cut alloy wheels. It also gets a redesigned bash plate, new handlebar mounted mirrors and new handlebar grips. Also, the 42 Dual Tone gets longer rear shock absorbers for superior comfort and increased ground clearance of 172mm compared to the 165mm ground clearance of the standard Jawa 42. New dual-tone colour options available for the bike are: Cosmic Rock, Infinity Black, Starship Blue, and Celestial Copper. The rest of the bike remains unchanged and as such, continues to be powered by the same 294.7cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 27.3PS and 26.8Nm.
The new Yezdi Roadster will rival the likes of the Honda H’Ness CB350 and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. The Jawa 42 Dual Tone’s rivals are the Honda CB350RS and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
