Upcoming Two-wheeler Launches In May 2026

Unlike April, May 2026 is expected to be a lot quieter in terms of two-wheeler launches

April 2026 turned out to be quite a busy month for the Indian two-wheeler market. We saw multiple updates and new launches, including downsized-engine motorcycles from Bajaj Auto,  along with some commuters bikes and  scooters. However, the same cannot be said for May, which looks relatively quieter in comparison. That said, there are still a couple of important launches expected this month. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:

Royal Enfield Bullet 650

The Bullet 650 is one of the most-awaited launches from Royal Enfield this year. It was first showcased at EICMA 2025 and could hit the Indian market this month. The bike will use the brand’s familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine, seen on models like the Interceptor 650 and Super Meteor 650, offering a relaxed and torquey riding experience. In terms of design, it will stay true to the classic Bullet styling, but with a slightly more premium and muscular presence. Pricing is expected to be around Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), placing it among the more accessible 650cc motorcycles in India.

Ducati Monster V2

While the bike has been launched internationally, Ducati is also gearing up to bring the new Monster V2 to India as part of its 2026 product lineup. This updated naked bike will come with an all-new 890cc V-twin engine, along with a lighter chassis and revised electronics package. It is will deliver 110PS, while also focusing on improved agility and everyday usability. The bike will feature modern electronics like multiple ride modes, traction control, and a 6-axis IMU, making it a proper premium streetfighter. While an exact launch date isn’t confirmed yet, it is likelY to arrive this month, with a premium price tag.
