Upcoming Hero Bike Launches In 2026
Hero might launch a new 250cc sportsbike this year!
Hero might launch some really cool two-wheelers in 2026, that too for different kinds of riders. If you are planning to buy one, here’s a list of the expected launches of 2026 from India’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturer:
Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition
Hero has unveiled the Dakar Edition of the XPulse 210 at EICMA 2025. This offroad-focused bike gets a more capable suspension setup with longer travel, more ground clearance, and knobby tyres as standard. It is expected to cost Rs 30,000 more than the top-spec Hero Xpulse 210, which is priced at Rs 1,71,283 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The expected launch timeline is sometime in early 2026.
Hero Karizma XMR 250
Hero MotoCorp showcased the Karizma XMR 250 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. While the bike looks quite similar to the Hero Karizma XMR 210, it has slightly more muscular fairing. It will be powered by the same 250cc motor borrowed from the Hero Xtreme 250R. Hero could launch this faired bike either in early 2026 or mid-2026 with an expected price tag of around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
Updated Hero Mavrick 440
Hero had unveiled a new variant of the Mavrick 440 at EICMA 2024, alongside the Hero Karizma XMR 250. It gets a golden inverted fork and a new TFT instrument console that is most likely borrowed from the Harley-Davidson X440. While we expected the brand to launch the motorcycle in 2025, there were no signs of it. We hope Hero launches it around the festive season next year.
Hero Xoom 160 Combat Edition
The Hero Xoom 160 will be a year old next month, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the brand celebrated it by giving the Xoom some much-needed upgrades. Hero has the habit of introducing Combat Editions to many of its products with new features, so we expect the same treatment to be applied to the Xoom 160 as well. The new maxi-scooter variant is expected to get a TFT instrument console and some other feature upgrades.
