The Ola Roadster X has officially made their way to showrooms across India, signaling the start of deliveries for the electric motorcycle. As of April 2025, test rides have begun at select showrooms, and the company has also shared an estimated delivery timeline.

Delivery Timeline

Deliveries in Bengaluru are expected to begin by the last week of April 2025, with other major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai following shortly after. The broader pan-India rollout is expected to be completed by June 2025. Ola Electric has shared a tentative delivery schedule based on their production capacity. Deliveries are expected to follow a phased rollout, beginning with Bengaluru in the last week of April 2025. Test rides are expected to begin in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur, and other urban centers by the first week of May 2025; deliveries in these cities to commence by end of May 2025. Test rides in tier 2 cities will also begin by the same time. Deliveries will begin in Tier-2 cities by mid-June 2025, and by the end of June 2025, the full pan-India rollout will be completed. Ola Electric has also estimated a 7 to 15-day delivery window after booking the Roadster. Although, past delays suggest customers should remain cautious about delivery timelines from the brand. Ola Electric has made it easy to book the Roadster online, through its official website and bookings start at Rs 500.

Variants

The Ola Roadster X is available in three variants, each offering different battery capacities and features. Prices start from Rs 74,999 for the 2.5kWh variant with a claimed range of 140km. The mid-spec 3.5kWh variant is priced at Rs 84,999 and offers 196km of claimed range, while the top 4.5kWh variant is priced at Rs 94,999 (all prices ex-showroom) and has 252km of claimed range. All Roadster X variants are powered by a 7kW motor, with a top speed of 118kmph and 0 to 40kmph acceleration in 3.1 seconds. All models come with an 8-year or 80,000km warranty on the battery.
