KTM 390 Adventure, 250 Adventure India Unveil Tomorrow

Apart from the ADV twins, KTM will also unveil the 1290 Super Duke at the 2019 IBW

• Unofficial bookings for the 390 ADV have commenced in select dealerships across the country. 
• While the 390 Adventure is expected to be priced at Rs 3.2 lakh, the 250 ADV could retail at Rs 2.5 lakh.  

KTM will finally unveil the much-awaited 390 Adventure in India tomorrow. Along with that, the Austrian bike maker is also planning a small surprise for us in the form of the 250 ADV. Yes, even the smaller ADV will make its debut tomorrow. While the 390 ADV is expected to be priced at Rs 3.2 lakh, the 250 ADV could retail at Rs 2.5 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). Now, there’s no official word from the company on bookings for the 390 Adventure, but certain dealers across the country have started accepting orders for a token amount of Rs 10,000. 

Both motorcycles will be powered by the same engine as their streetfighter siblings, however, the major change will be the updated motors that are now Euro 5/BS6-compliant. In the 390 ADV, the 373cc single-cylinder makes at 44PS and 37Nm, which is the same as the 390 Duke and the RC 390. The 250 ADV, on the other hand, is powered by the same 248.8cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine seen on the 250 Duke. It’s capable of producing 29.91PS of power and 24Nm of peak torque. There are no official details as of now, but according to our sources, some dealers have started accepting bookings for the Husqvarna twins!
