Keeway at 2016 Auto Expo

Keeway, the Hungarian motorcycle manufacturer is making its way to the upcoming Auto Expo. Initially, this company started dealing with scooters but with the passage of time it landed into the motorcycling sector. It will be introducing the Blackster 250i in the coming time, Keeway manufacture bikes ranging from 50cc to 600cc. The bikes of this company are a sheer delight as they have a lot to offer in terms of visuals, but we will be able to comment on its ability in power and performance only after the launch of its awaited Blackster 250i.

The upcoming Blackster 250i would be equipped with a 248.9cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-cylinder, 4-valve engine mated to a 5-speed transmission that churns out a maximum power of 19.18bhp @ 5,800rpm and a peak torque of 18.7Nm @ 5,750rpm. Other attractive features of this bike would be EFI, TLI, pressure splash lubrication etc. Also, the bike will be featured with a wet multi-clutch plate along with disc brakes at both the ends that are measured at 270mm front and 220mm at the rear.

Talking about other aspects, the Blackster 250i would be offered with telescopic forks suspension at the front and spring loaded oil damped suspension set-up at the rear with a travel of 120mm and 70mm respectively. The ground clearance is 140mm that is good enough for acruiser and the bike has a wheelbase of 1,530mm. The Blackster 250i would be weighed at 170 kg and has a fuel capacity of 13.5 litres. Though, the pricing of this bike is not revealed by the company, but it is expected to be priced at Rs 1.75 lac. If the pricing of the bike remains the same, it could be one of the most affordable cruiser available in the country with such eye-catching looks.
