Verdict
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V is Rs 9,309 cheaper than the Apache RTR 160 but misses out on some features. The Apache RTR 160 2V, on the other hand, comes with better features including smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and ride modes. It also offers more variants and colour options to choose from, unlike the Hero.
If you're after a sporty-looking bike with a fresh design or have a tight budget, and can do without smartphone connectivity, the Hero Xtreme 160R 2V is a solid choice. However, if you don't mind the Apache's old design and prefer more features and colour options, the RTR 160 is worth considering. For added safety, the dual-channel ABS variant would be the better option, for which you would have to pay Rs 4,300 over the single-channel ABS variant.
