The brand had postponed the launch due to heavy rains in Mumbai

[UPDATE: CFMoto has made its India debut with the launch of four products: 300NK, 650NK, 650MT & 650GT. Head here for the pricing and other details.]

  • The brand will now be making its India debut in Bengaluru.
  • It will launch four bikes here, catering to the 300cc and 650cc segment.
  • The bikes are likely to be priced from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).

CFMoto had earlier planned to enter the Indian market on July 4. The venue was set in Mumbai, but the logistics took a hit due to heavy rains that lashed India’s financial capital. This forced the Chinese brand to change the venue to Bengaluru and postpone the launch date to July 19. The brand will be launching four products at once: 300NK, 650MT, 650GT and 650NK

The 300NK and 650NK are naked motorcycles whereas the 650GT is a sports tourer and the 650MT is a road-biased adventure tourer. CFMoto has teamed up with AMW Motorcycles for its operations in the country. All the four motorcycles will enter our shores via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route and will be assembled at the production plant in Bengaluru. The manufacturing facility has an annual production capacity of 10,000 units. We believe the 300NK could command a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh, whereas the 650NK is likely to cost around Rs 5 lakh. On the other hand, the 650MT and 650GT are likely to be priced at Rs 6 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively (all prices are ex-showroom).

In the first phase of its operations, CFMoto plans to sell the bikes in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It will then be followed by Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai markets later this year. CFMoto also intends to extend its portfolio in India with the launch of the 400NK (naked), 400GT (sports tourer) and 300SR (faired supersport) slated for next year. Stay tuned for more updates!
