Update: We have ridden the CFMoto 650NK. Read the road test review here

These detailed shots of the newly-launched 650NK, 650MT & 650GT ought to give you a better idea of what these bikes pack!

CFMoto has launched four feature-packed, competitively-priced motorcycles in India. Its most affordable product is the 300NK, whereas the rest of the motorcycles (650NK, 650MT & 650GT) cater to the 650cc segment. Here are the detailed images of the bikes:

650NK:

The 650NK sports a pretty aggressive design that comprises of sharp lines accentuated by a muscular fuel tank. The bike has been designed by Kiska, the same firm responsible for designing KTM’s bikes. At Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom India), the introductory price is pretty competitive!

The lighting system is all-LED and the clutch lever is adjustable. However, the brake lever isn’t.

The bike comes with a sleek yet easy-to-read LCD instrument cluster. It shows details like the speed, revs, gear position, fuel level and clock, among others.

The motorcycle rides on a KYB telescopic fork up front with fork guards to protect the seal from dust and grime. Up front, it gets dual petal discs grabbed by J.Juan axial calipers. The bike gets dual-channel ABS as standard from Continental.

The bike is powered by a 649.3cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It makes 61.1PS at 9000rpm and 56Nm at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The frame’s inherent design doubles up as protectors for the engine too.

The rear gets a conventional disc grabbed by a single-piston caliper. The tyres are wrapped with CST Adreno Sport tyres.

The tiny, high-set pillion seat looks ideal for short rides only. The rear monoshock is preload adjustable.

CFMoto 650GT:

The 650GT is a sports tourer with a bulbous fairing and a large-sized adjustable windscreen. The bike costs Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom India).

It gets twin LED headlamps with “L” shaped LED DRLs. The indicators along with the tail lamp are all LED too.

The 650GT is the only bike in CFMoto’s 650cc range in India to get a TFT instrument console. The console display layout can be changed to either Sport or Rain mode. That said, it only changes how the information is displayed and doesn’t change the character of the engine.

Just like the 650NK, the clutch lever in the 650GT is adjustable. The display layout can be changed via the button on the left handlebar. Switchgear quality looks fairly decent.

Like the 650NK, the 650GT also features a telescopic fork up front. Brakes include dual petal discs with J.Juan axial calipers. Interestingly, the India-spec bike rides on CST Adreno Sport tyres whereas the one sold abroad gets Metzeler Z8 rubber.

The engine in the 650GT is tuned differently compared to its naked counterpart. At  62.5PS and 58.5Nm, the sports tourer makes 1.4PS and 2.5Nm more than the naked variant.

CFMoto offers pannier mounting brackets and lockable hard case panniers from Shad as an option.

CFMoto 650MT:

The 650MT is a road-biased ADV. Although it looks pretty large from the side, it is pretty sleek width-wise. The bike is priced at Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom India, introductory).

There’s a vertically-stacked LED headlamp and a tall windscreen to protect the rider from windblast. The bike also gets knuckle guards and engine guard for added protection.

While it gets an LCD instrument cluster like the 650NK, the layout is completely different. We particularly like the circular dial for the tachometer.

Compared to the 650GT, the switchgear appears to be different in this motorcycle. However, the basic functionality remains the same. The bike also gets a hazard switch, which should be useful during emergency situations.

The 650MT is equipped with an adjustable inverted fork up front offering 140mm of travel. The brakes are the same twin petal discs as the rest of the bikes. However, the tyres are different. It rolls on Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact radial tyres

CFMoto has tuned the engine to be the most powerful among the lot. It produces 70.7PS and 62Nm, which is 8.2PS and 3.5Nm more than the 650GT.

The single-piece seat is available in two options: 820mm and 840mm. The former should make the ADV accessible for shorter riders.

We would've liked to see an upswept exhaust. This stubby underbelly unit might limit the water-wading potential of the motorcycle.
