Triumph Speed T4, Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Thruxton 400 Prices Hiked

Even with increased prices, the value-for-money factor hasn’t decreased for these bikes

Quick Highlight:

  • Triumph Speed 400 has received the highest price bump

  • Rest of the bikes get a nominal hike

  • Speed T4 still remains the most affordable Triumph bike in India

Triumph India has increased the prices of all its 400cc bikes. It’s the first price increase since the brand announced it would absorb the increased GST impact, back when it was announced in September last year. However, the hike is most likely due to increased production costs and not higher GST rate. It is unlikely that the modest price rise will drastically impact buying decisions for new customers.

Among all the Triumph 400cc bikes, the Speed 400 has received the highest price hike, while the rest of the same have received similar bumps. That said, the Speed T4 is still priced under Rs 2 lakh and remains the most affordable Triumph bike in India.

Even after the revision, all these bikes continue to offer strong value for money, and remain firmly positioned as affordable retro-styled bikes in their respective segments. With competitive pricing, modern features, and classic design appeal, these bikes continue to justify their asking price and are likely to remain popular choices among riders looking for accessible retro-themed motorcycles.

In a related development, Triumph is also planning to introduce a more affordable 350cc bike in India. This should help the brand take advantage of the GST 2.0’s taxing structure, and maybe price new bikes competitively.
