Yamaha Lander 250 vs Hero XPulse 210: Picture Perfect Aesthetics
We really wish Yamaha launches the Lander in India to rival the XPulse!
The Yamaha Lander 250 and Hero XPulse 210 may belong to the same segment, but their designs clearly show different priorities. While both are dual-purpose bikes, one of them is lean and mean whereas the other one is a bit beefy. Here’s how they stack up against each other:
Front Design
The Yamaha Lander 250 gets a tall, slim front end with a single-pod projector headlight. The design looks like someone just slapped on lights to a dirt bike to make it road legal.
The Hero XPulse 210 has a round LED headlamp with a small windscreen. Its styling is like a traditional dual-sport bike, being simple and focusing more on function over form. Both the bikes have a high mounted beak-type fender.
Side Profile
From the side, the new 2026 Yamaha Lander looks more muscular and towering. The narrow fuel tank, flat seat and minimal body panels give it the appearance of a lightweight trail bike that’s easy to handle off-road.
The Hero XPulse bike looks more like a compact adventure tourer. The larger tank shrouds, wider seat, and rear luggage rack means it won’t shy away from highway rides. It looks bigger and more substantial than the Yamaha.

The Yamaha bike’s engine setup looks compact, and the blacked out elements make it look neatly packed. It even has a protective cover for the oil lines, and the exhaust routing is done in a way that it doesn’t interfere with the ground clearance.
The Hero bike, on the other hand, looks busy when you focus on the engine. That said, the gold finish on the crank makes it look premium. Interestingly, its exhaust is routed under the engine, ending with a high-set muffler. To protect the exhaust, it also gets an aluminium bash plate.
Rear Section
At the rear, the Lander 250 keeps things slim. The narrow tail section and compact tail-lamp design highlight its lightweight, dirt-focused character.
The XPulse 210 has a longer and more practical tail section. The grab rails and built-in luggage rack clearly show that it is designed with touring and daily use in mind.
