TVS MotoSoul 2025: These Two Custom Cafe Racers Are Just Stunning!

Both can give the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and the Triumph Thruxton 400 a run for their money!

TVS has unveiled two really beautiful custom cafe racers at MotoSoul 2025. One is based on the TVS Ronin, and the other is based on the TVS Apache RR 310. These modified bikes have shown how versatile the Ronin and the RR 310 as modding platforms. Here’s a detailed breakdown of both bikes:

Modified TVS Ronin Cafe Racer

This bike is called Kensai, and is made by Smoked Garage, an Indonesian custom house. This TVS Ronin has seen extensive changes to its design, engine and underpinnings to turn it into the ultimate retro cafe racer.

The Kensai gets a larger round LED headlight setup, along with a slimmer fuel tank and a rider-only seat. Smoked Garage has gone for a dark green paint scheme with bronze graphics on the tank, side panel and tail-section - giving the bike an elegant look.

The lowered clip-on handlebar setup and the rear set footpegs, gives it sporty and committed riding posture. With the extended swingarm, we reckon the bike is meant for drag racing rather than outright corner carving.

For the best timings, a bump in performance is a necessity. For this, the custom house has used an aftermarket free flow exhaust system. This should allow the engine to breathe better, giving a slight edge in performance.

While all these modifications are pretty common, what really caught our eye was the hydraulic suspension system that is adjustable. This should make it really easy to get on or off the bike as you won’t have to worry about the seat height at all.

TVS Apache RR 310 Cafe Racer Build

The RR 310 Speedline is the second cafe racer from Smoked Garage, and has a more modern design than the Kensai. This build has radically transformed the TVS Apache RR 310 in many ways. Sure, it gets a similar low placed clip-on handlebar and rear set footpegs setup like the Kensai. But what makes this bike all the more special is the quarter fairing and reworked tail-section with the shortened subframe. The quarter fairing even has winglets, which looks cooler than the one on the RR 310.

Overall, the bike just looks absolutely phenomenal. We really think TVS should consider bringing in a production form (of course, with a more forgiving riding posture). This would be a perfect bike for the cafe racer enthusiasts in India.

Now, we know that the Speedline 310 looks the part, but can it perform? Yes it can, as Smoked Garage has gone all guns blazing to improve the handling and performance. The custom bike gets a new swingarm for weight reduction. It is also equipped with Ohlins suspension at both ends, and also rolls on lighter wheels with racing slicks. Compared to the Kensai, the Speedline 310 looks track ready, and seems like the perfect weapon to carve corners.

In a related development, TVS has also unveiled a 20th Anniversary Special Edition of the TVS Apache RTX 300 at MotoSoul 2025. In addition to this, the brand has also launched a new Ronin variant as well.
